They said the same thing in Mexico when about 6 years ago our current president started his own party after getting screwed over by his old party in the previous 3 presidential elections. He ran for president 3 times with the main lefty party of mexico (PRD) and those three times the other parties rigged the election against him, he tried to challenge the fraud but his party basically gave him the finger and did nothing to help him. In 2014 he got fed up with PRD and created his own party called MORENA. People thought no way he will win, the 3 main parties of mexico are too strong. Literally he won the very next presidential elections after creating MORENA by a landslide, in only 4 years he built massive support. In the next election presidential elections, the 3 main parties of Mexico: PRD (left), PRI (center) and PAN (right) will to join to run against MORENA lol uni party much? cause that's the only way they could have a chance against morena. MORENA has super majority in the senate and congress and slowly slowly they are winning every single state.
