I actually met a guy from Australia who was doing exactly that and he convinced me to go to Mexico. We parted and n Guanajuato and about a year later I received a post card from Iran in which he had written how great things were there and how evil America was for opposing the Iranian government. I think as people mature and they start seeing the flaws in Democratic Republics they are more open to Fascism. You are 100% correct in the idea that the family, not the individual should be the primary unit in society. It also helps if the society in question has a common culture, religion, ethnic makeup and history. Look at Japan for an example of a society that would excel under a fascist government. It will never work in America and to make it work would be very bloody.
