Its a catch 22 for them here: Either they admit massive fraud, or they admit the voter registration is rife with a quantity of clerical errors that should disqualify it as an electoral document.

- The vote registration progress is fucked, being rife with administrative errors and being purged too infrequently to be reliable, holding many dead and out of state registrants, or "clerical errors" (which honestly might be worse given the level of trust this document is given) if you believe the nYT.
- The ballot recieval progress is fucked, as its based on the vote registration and done utterly indiscriminatory.
- The ballot posting progress is fucked, as all you need to post a valid ballot is a name that isn't posted for yet and a autograph; whether or not its actually the right autograph is something that they won't check; they just check whether it is signed and only in the extremely rare eventuality of an audit will it be checked against whats in the register, and even then it will not be done by someone who can detect a convincingly forged signature due to the time cost of having a handwriting expert scrutinize thousands of ballots, so most people can reliably post for non-voters in their household without being caught.
- The ballot counting progress is fucked, with many counties using a software that is demonstrably fallible.
- The ballot posting process is fucked, with it being demonstrated that a poll worker having the absolute mildest of dyslexia and switching 2 decimals or adding a 0 is something that has to be detected by a third party in order to get reverted, even if it is a mathmatical impossibility to begin with.
- The ballot upload process is fucked as sometimes human error just causes them to...Forget to do it. Which in all likelyhood leaves the system unsupervised for fucking hours.
But despite the fact that anyone who cheated in highschool can think of 50 ways to fuck with this system, it is completely safe. Despite the at this point hysterical admissions of how vulnerable it is to human error, it is completley safe.

Election contesting is always a political gamble. Either you win, and you have utterly delegitimized your opponent, or you lose, and you will be derided as a threat to democracy and a poor loser, effectively nuking your own political career. Its a ridiculously high stakes gamble to make. Its why so few recounts are demanded.
I fully expected like 95% of the GOP to either shut up or circle the wagons. They want that top grade career path of mayor > House/Congressman > White house position > Memoir that has become common to the point of sickening in the US.
Trump? Trump doesn't give a shit. In 4 more years he will be too old to entertain another run, he has no further political ambitions, already had every shred of honor and reputation stolen from him. He can do or die, its essentially zero-loss for him. No matter what he does, they had the "undermining the integrity of the election" spiel locked and loaded since 6 fucking months ago, and were going to hit him with this shit the moment he hesitated more than .03s with his concession speech. So he doubles down, knowing full well that there isn't a path that won't result in them beating their beloved boogieman for more political credit.
That being said, OP is a cuck and a liar because if you go to that tweet (and Marjorie got rightfully BTFO'd by him), it shows that Crenshaw supports investigation into the elections, denouncing the rampant failures in transparancy and the needless partisanship around it.

What I am saying is that what they hoped for was a comfortable victory, something to point to and say "we defeated Trump at the ballot box, and renounced Trumpianism". This was essential to their long term strategy of demoralization. They didn't just want to defeat Trump, they wanted to delegitimize 2016 as a fluke.
Instead, they got fucking crushed in that department. Florida might not even be seen as a swing state next election, their Texan plan crumbled, and the barrel of 2024 they are looking down is either one build on more Trump victories, or one build on Biden's inevitable failures, and will see them pitted against an immensely energized republican voterbase without having a boogieman to whip their own base in action with. Dems are looking at either a crushing defeat that will give Republicans international backing to update your archaic election practices (I mean, look at places like 9gag, your system is rightfully getting memed into oblivion for how remarkably shit it is), or a phyrric victory that would all but guarantee a Rep landslide in 2024 and possibly 2022 unless the republican primary produces someone more slander-worthy than Trump, which lets be honest here, isn't fucking likely.
On an unrelated note, having already categorically failed to attain a moral victory over Trump, the Dems must be shitting their fucking pants right now at the thought of 2024, when they won't have the Trump boogeyman anymore, a massive quantity of activated Republican voters, and, in all likelyhood, a Trumpian candidate to run against.

Second of all, if it was a clerical error, then the votes for Trump and Jo in that county should've been in the change. BUt it wasn't. Because by the looks of it, it was immediately removed and then added back in again at 3AM. Only the difference.
