There's a great little Mexican place down the street that we used to go to all the time. Best fucking tamales I've ever had in my life, these things are unreal, and the service is always outstanding. They were closed completely during the shutdown, not doing takeout orders, but they're finally allowed to open tomorrow. We're going there as soon as they open the doors and someone is getting an enormous tip...and someone else is going to spend the rest of the night in a tamale coma.

I said something like that yesterday. I was talking to my wife and we were excited that we were going to be able to go to a restaurant again and shop inside stores starting tomorrow. I commented on how sad it was that we're so excited that she's simply allowed to walk into a craft store to buy paint or yarn again. They take everything away from us for 2 months and then they give back 10% of it and we almost thank them for it. Pathetic.

Seinfeld is solid. He doesn't apologize for anything, he's too successful to give a shit, and he's definitely had it with cancel culture. He's one of the few old school comedians left who remembers when comedy was comedy, and nothing was off-limits.
Letterman had him on his shitty "Dave panders and talks to various D-listers about how much they hate Trump for 45 minutes" show on Netflix, and tried to prod Jerry into a political discussion, and he wasn't having it. He didn't take the bait and just shut the whole conversation down immediately, saying he doesn't do political humor because it's not funny, it's just pandering and you're always going to lose half the audience no matter which way you go. More comedians and musicians should remember that.
