The Floyd case wasn't really use of force. It was a cop trying to hold a guy stationary while the guy suffered the effects of a massive OD. The technique was done to try to save Floyd's life, hold him still so he couldn't further stress his heart during the physical and mental attack that resulted from an OD.
These guys put jobs before truth. They were afraid of being labeled racists if they didn't accept that Floyd was murdered.
