This is why they should secede.

They are big enough and resourceful enough to go on their own, and they know better how to handle their business than D.C. does

I am loving the mustachioed man in the hat standing there looking like the local marshal, there to keep the peace.

Remember when "healthcare is a right" was a thing and then, when Roberts said universal healthcare was a "tax" that was okay?

Remember how none of the words or rules make sense when Democrats are in power?

The sad truth is this: Trump deployed the national guard to defend the inauguration of Biden, an inauguration he knows to be fradulently achieved. He did so as he makes plans to leave the White House on the morning of the 20th, remaining a man committed to peace no matter how many times he is attacked by people who call him a dictator monster.

He's the greatest man to hold the office since Washington and I will defend him, flaws and all, till the bitter end.

Well yeah, the steal was legalized on the 6th.

Time to fire up the "STEAL IT BACK" rallies.

Does this a-hole just flip a coin every half hour to decide if he's going to be on the left or on the right?

Honestly, no.

Trump has demonstrated for the better part of his term that he often does not believe the enemy "would go that far."

Trump was not perfect. That should be a given considering how he went from the private sector to the White House for crying out loud. His greatest weakness, imo, was his almost child-like view of government. He looked at government and the military the way a child in the 50s did. Stars and Stripes forever. I pledge allegiance to the flag. Sparklers on the fourth of July. Shake the hand of a WW2 vet. That sort of thing. He knew the people were corrupt. He called them the swamp, but he could never quite get over his belief that, at the end of the day, the people in power, wanted to help America. He just thought they were too weak or stupid or slow to do it. He thought he could go there as "the boss" and lead his team to glory.

Amazingly, he did so much good despite having so many roadblocks. Imagine if he had been given help.

He wasn't perfect but he was great, but what's really sad is that 75% of what made him so great was just his willingness to keep the promises that got him elected in the first place. There were a few times there where he used his NY Businessman negotiation skills to get some things done, but his real legacy will be that he was an honest politician, and that he exposed not only how rare such things are, but how vehemently hated such things are in Washington.

Pompeo is good. Not perfect, but good.

No guillotine for him.

I'm pretty sure Jesus considered that when He said what He did.

I'll trust Jesus.

She was a veteran and a patriot. He went unarmed to her capitol building to demand accountability from her elected officials.

She was murdered by the thugs assigned to protect elected officials from the people.

She was unarmed. She was murdered.

The Tea party was us bringing signs to DC. asking the government to fix things.

Trump was us bringing a problem solver to DC to fix things for us.

Next time we're not bringing tools. Next time we're not coming to fix things.

Our founders would have burned it down.

Just saying.

When GOPe says "that's not who we are" believe them. That's not who THEY are. That IS who Washington and Jefferson were.

Then what the fuck was the point of gathering in DC?!

If all they're doing is trashing the place before calmly leaving that's more of a troll move than a revolutionary one. It's more Boston Tea Party than Storming of the Bastille.

I can't even describe the boner I would get if Trump marched into the capitol with fifty thousand orbiting him.

Let the people be your sword and shield!

Dear Trump supporters at the Capitol Building,

Yes Pepper Spray hurts, but when there are million of you and thirty of them...eventually the ants make a bridge, if you know what I'm saying.
