The sad truth is this: Trump deployed the national guard to defend the inauguration of Biden, an inauguration he knows to be fradulently achieved. He did so as he makes plans to leave the White House on the morning of the 20th, remaining a man committed to peace no matter how many times he is attacked by people who call him a dictator monster.

He's the greatest man to hold the office since Washington and I will defend him, flaws and all, till the bitter end.

Well yeah, the steal was legalized on the 6th.

Time to fire up the "STEAL IT BACK" rallies.

Does this a-hole just flip a coin every half hour to decide if he's going to be on the left or on the right?

Honestly, no.

Trump has demonstrated for the better part of his term that he often does not believe the enemy "would go that far."

Trump was not perfect. That should be a given considering how he went from the private sector to the White House for crying out loud. His greatest weakness, imo, was his almost child-like view of government. He looked at government and the military the way a child in the 50s did. Stars and Stripes forever. I pledge allegiance to the flag. Sparklers on the fourth of July. Shake the hand of a WW2 vet. That sort of thing. He knew the people were corrupt. He called them the swamp, but he could never quite get over his belief that, at the end of the day, the people in power, wanted to help America. He just thought they were too weak or stupid or slow to do it. He thought he could go there as "the boss" and lead his team to glory.

Amazingly, he did so much good despite having so many roadblocks. Imagine if he had been given help.

He wasn't perfect but he was great, but what's really sad is that 75% of what made him so great was just his willingness to keep the promises that got him elected in the first place. There were a few times there where he used his NY Businessman negotiation skills to get some things done, but his real legacy will be that he was an honest politician, and that he exposed not only how rare such things are, but how vehemently hated such things are in Washington.

Pompeo is good. Not perfect, but good.

No guillotine for him.

I'm pretty sure Jesus considered that when He said what He did.

I'll trust Jesus.

She was a veteran and a patriot. He went unarmed to her capitol building to demand accountability from her elected officials.

She was murdered by the thugs assigned to protect elected officials from the people.

She was unarmed. She was murdered.

The Tea party was us bringing signs to DC. asking the government to fix things.

Trump was us bringing a problem solver to DC to fix things for us.

Next time we're not bringing tools. Next time we're not coming to fix things.

Friend traveling today said there are hundreds of Army personnel in the Atlanta airport. She said it was “crazy” and that they said they were being dropped throughout the US. US Battleships all along the west coast.

Something is going on.

I know, polls shmolls, but still:

Find me a "one term" President that was defeated by millions of votes, who then insisted on not conceding, cried foul at every turn, tried to get legislatures and courts to overturn the election...

and have an approval rating above 50%.

I'm not saying anything "Rubiconish" will happen.

But I'm saying in all my years following the White House, I've never seen a December so full of activity, especially not after an election, an really especially not after what is supposed to be a change of power.

The outgoing President usually does mundane stuff, like approves a few judges, pardons some friends, gives a Christmastime message, etc.

You just don't see this much counter-intelligence stuff, key staff shakeups, and things that, quite frankly, feeling like "battening down the hatches" before something big goes down.

Again, I'm not saying Trump is getting ready to invoke the Insurrection Act. I'm just saying, if he was going to, the things we're seeing coming out of the White House make sense.

Sorry to be a negative nancy, but I have only one question:

  1. What are you going to do when a ballot doesn't have a signature match?

You might think that's an obvious question, but I would point out how in Wisconsin they found a hundred thousand illegal ballots in their recount, the GOP went to a judge, and the judge refused to toss them.

So, is there a point to this besides kabuki?

It would be helpful if these judges could kindly tell us WHO has standing, so we would know where to go with our torches and pitchforks.

Thank you.

There is no better use of the Insurrection Act, and honestly, if Trump doesn't do it...if he just walks out on January 19th and leaves us twisting in the wind for four years, then he's failed as our President.

This is the moment he was made for. Not tax cuts or tariffs. This is why he's here. If he punts on this, he's no better than SCOTUS or the cowardly State Legislatures who didn't want to make the hard choices either.

He should resign and Alito elevated to Chief Justice in the post-Insurrection act nation.

I hear everyone saying "swastika!"

I get it. I honestly didn't make the connect, but I understand it now.

That said, I didn't create the logo. It's been floating around since mid-November. It shows Biden's blue line underneath Trump before the big spike put him over the top.

But the blue can also symbolize water and Trump (the red line) crossing it (the Rubicon river).

So I thought it was a clever mix of memes and I would never associate it with Nazis because, for one, fuck Nazis, and two, Trump's line would never go down!

Do not let them take you to a secondary location.

The white house is the command center for military activity. Do not cede that power. Do not try and fight the system from the outside. Do not expect to be allowed to return to fight in four years.

This is the hill. This is the last hill.

All this is good but we need to understand what the Senate hearing is really about.

They are basically saying "Biden won, but the people don't trust it. So we're going to give them the confidence they need to know everything is fine."

These senators will never admit there was enough fraud to overturn the election. Admitting it would require them to admit harsh truths and take bold actions they're not courageous enough to take.

To them, America is just too big to fail.

As nice as it is to see Johnson push around the absolute nobody Peters, let's not be blind to two facts:

the purpose behind his righteous anger is a defense of self, not of Trump.

his goal, as stated in the clip, is that the hearing fix elections going forward, leaving Trump twisting in the wind.

To all GOPe senators I would only ask one question: If your investigations conclude that the 2020 election was a fraud, what do you plan to do to remedy that fraud?

If their answer begins with the words "going forward" proceed to tar and feather them.

"Sorry you were raped, ma'am, but not really because we didn't much like you anyway. Going forward we're going to make sure the women we actually like don't get raped in the future. Sucks to be you though."
