I think its very immoral for hedge fund to leverage 70+ billion dollars against a company. That kind of play moves needles significantly and creates significant momentum plays alongside you, and I think its ignorant to say large hedge funds do not have the ability to force publicly traded companies out of business.

If you want to use your insane leverage as a hedge fund to short sell a company into bankruptcy because it makes you rich, you created the hedge fund and have every right to do that....capitalism, sharks, its a brutal world but that's America. In this case, Citadel, Melvin Cap, and other copycat hedge funds short selling 140% (which shouldn't even be allowed for one) and then crying about it and using their institutional power to halt trading for the side that is winning the bet (retail investors). I travel all over the country, working primarily in flyover states, small conservative towns, etc. In so many of these places, Walmart is the only place to shop. They've put the mom and pops out of business, you'd really have to go out of your way to avoid them and purchase what you need.
