Also, be aware that unless you're in a "feedlot" state, the beef available direct is likely to be "grass fat". It's not the same as supermarket beef, but some folks like it better. It's fine for ground beef to me, but not so much for better cuts.

Totally with you. Although, when we get back down to sub-3% unemployment I don't think I'd have a problem with H1B provided it required minimum salaries commensurate with existing workforce. Eliminate the cheapness of the labor, but don't limit companies that want to grow.
