There's no hidden white hats in the swamp working to save us all, and many of us had delusional pipe dreams that this was gonna be easy. The world is fucked, and a few techies in silicon valley colluded with government and oligarchs to take over the world.
It's a really bitter pill to swallow. We have come to realize that the world at large was seeking to chew us up and spit us out. The internet we engage with, the TV, our HR departments, and slowly our friends and family were turning against us and each other. It's like something out of the twilight zone, we were enemies in our own country and we were the last to find out.
At least we know where we stand now. At least we understand the gravity of the situation. 4 years ago we were bickering about star wars going to shit and gritting our teeth as we were systematically being removed from culture and the workforce.
Take solace that the genie is out of the bottle, and these subversives have no idea WTF to do. They all thought everyone else had a big plan. Now everyone's standing around in DC with their disheveled dicks hanging out.
Their only play was to put the most dumb fuck, laughable candidate in the presidency position and hope we all just laugh the past 4 years off as they surround themselves with wolves in sheeps clothing thirsting for each others' blood.
Trump just lit up all the whole cabal, from DC, to silicon valley, to the capitol building in Georgia.
We're not out of the woods by any stretch, but faith and pride in this country are stronger than ever, though they have certainly been tested along the way.
I must admit; as victory is stolen from the jaws of defeat for the umpteenth time, I may have felt the impossible: I may have grown tired of winning.
What a wild ride these 4 years have been.
Are the news, big tech, and social media protecting us from tyranny? Or are they enacting it?
Are the right bigoted traitors holding on to privilege, suppressing the meek? Or have they been pushed into the dirt themselves?
Were the past 4 years the knee jerk spasms of an impotent, raged filled administration? Or are they an artful deception meant to lull these caretakers turned parasite into a false sense impending victory. To drive them to overplay their hands, and to inevitably turn the dagger meant for the people unto themselves?
