Here's the misconception of government: There are 2 sides vying for power seeking to enrich themselves and to steer the country towards their agenda.
This is no longer the function of government. These people are lapdogs for oligarchs who enact policy that gets out of the way of monopoly or helps to restrict open economy so the big players can take over in their game of globalism.
There are no movers and shakers on the right, no one thirsty for that top spot to enrich their side or to spread their conviction.
When they get a majority or win a seat, they don't know what to do with themselves. They are meant to play the pay for play game of dominion, they are meant to vote in tandem with the big pacs and the big interests of tech and hollywood and seek to brush elbows with those who will invite them to the fanciest parties.
Left vs. Right vying for control is a decades old illusion. America is fast becoming an illusion. It's the smarmy clique of enriched elite and everyone else.
It' so frustrating to see that anyone with incentive to go against big tech is also incompetent.
Just hearing about the scope of what these guys are trying to accomplish being WAY too big for a small startup company, to find out they're this incompetent doesn't bode well at all.

Is it really so damned hard to see that these issues aren't so black and white? Yes there are some good rich people, there are also a slew of evil ones who catapult to absolute power all the time and create terrible societies.
Would you believe that there are even very good, hard working, smart people who are born to disgusting lazy poor people who live lives of abject poverty for absolutely no reason whatsoever and topics such as this do nothing to rectify this unwanted suffering?
We need to stop thinking that inequality is some necessary thing to combat insane leftism. There are people of all races, and creeds, all cultures who get stomped into the dirt who have something to give. But all this infighting and bullshit always gets in the way. False virtue, pearl clutching, hording the wealth, low key racism and all sorts of horse shit, predatory actions and monopoly cloud our society from being just.
WTF kind of points are threads like these supposed to make? The truth lies somewhere in the middle, and if you're extremely on the other side, trying to impose reparations on people based on race or politics or trying to validate a caste system, you're likely low key a pretty shitty human or ignorant individual.
