She caught a virus that made herself unable to taste or smell anything for an extended period of time. This virus triggered the PCR tests for COVID-19. The PCR tests are unreliable, but it makes sense to me that losing sense of smell and/or taste is a symptom unique to what the media are calling COVID.
Whether or not that was COVID-19 or not does not change the fact she did catch something and that she has immunity from it and that she apparently decided after becoming immune from it to get a vaccine that doesn’t even really prevent you from catching COVID but lessens symptoms according to the doctors.
Personally, though, I do not doubt that there is a disease going around. It is called leftism and it is killing the world.
It isn’t the terrorist event, it is OPEC who really don’t like Biden. The only world leaders that like Biden are the EU and they really just want to take advantage of him.
OPEC has been limiting supply, meanwhile inflation is also occurring, it is just going into oil prices first.
That haircut is a seriously anti-human slur.
Most problems are very nuanced. Wanting to see how the vaccine turns out is completely reasonable. I am upset with people like Fauci and others who want to force people to get the vaccine. It is ridiculous. Wanting to wait and see for long-term considerations is reasonable, especially when it is new technology and a year is reasonable for any bad side effects to start displaying themselves if they exist in the long-term.
I mean, I think that sexual preference is not immutable, even at old age. Same thing with religion, you can swap religions, even at old age. Only things like sex and race are really immutable because you can’t really conceive a situation where you can be like “yeah, nope it’s changed”. It is more likely that Milo is just staying away from sex in general now and saying he isn’t gay. Milo has big problems and a lot of issues to work through. I don’t think social media helps him.
I agree with you that people need to make their own decision on that.
I think people just really don’t like it that their friends and family are getting it because they think it is risky and has the potential to do a lot of damage. mRNA vaccines needed a lot more time for research and they are risky as they are new technology. I think that we are more disappointed that people turned off their critical thinking caps and got the vaccine, especially if they are healthy.
Like, for example: my sister, who caught COVID, got the vaccine. I was aghast when I heard that. I was on a plan that I would only get the vaccine after a year or so of it being publicly distributed, figuring that either I wouldn’t need it after a year or it would be shown to be safe, but my dumbass sister got the experimental vaccine after getting sick with COVID and having the damn antibodies.
It is this type of stuff that drives me insane and why people really think that the vaccine is evil and dislike those who get it.
Look, I have a lot of skepticism on this. Trump is real good at real estate development and being a president, but a social media site is... well... not his style.
It is guaranteed to succeed though, as people want to hear what he says. I just hope that it doesn’t have a rocky launch. (Who am I kidding, it will)
Also, where did he get the resources to do this and since when was he planning on doing this?
The enforcement of crypto-currency comes from the backing of pure mathematics and tons of miners. The miners are the enforcement. The only thing that is missing for crypto is acceptance for using it as a medium of exchange. That is using it for payment. Bitcoin was adopted more because it is a store of value and NFTs are being adopted for similar reasons, though they are speculative.
The main reason I like crypto though is that it gets the power out of the hands of government concerning currencies. I dislike the government being the sole issuer of money as they can inflate their currency with no reprochassions except on the tax payer and those who use their currency. De-centralizing things is real healthy. The government is a necessary evil that grows bigger and bigger over time. It is due to become so evil that people can’t take it anymore very soon.
The video, legitimately shows Crowder doing a workout with and without a mask and showing that his stats fall below 95, which says you should contact your health worker. Now, it isn't a controlled experiment, but it clearly happened.
And I know my body, I know that when I have a mask on, it is harder to breath. Saying my diaphragm has to work harder as a excuse to get the same oxygen is barely appropriate.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYiHLl-qxFA
Crowder, does it with a double mask, but it is literal proof that obstructing your airway lowers oxygen level.
It is simply obvious that putting something over your nose and mouth would make it harder to breath, now typically, it might be negligible, but it still is true.
I don't know about you, but I get headaches and it is harder to breath when I put masks on. And my argument that if the costs outweigh the benefits, I should decide not to do the thing.
They are still costs, saying that the costs are equivalent to whining does not negate the fact that they are costs.
And also, some of these issues are of potentially dangerous proportions, less oxygen to your brain, especially long-term, does not sound good.
And so long as I determine the costs to be greater than the benefits, my argument stands. And as, masks may have maybe a 1-2% influence on catching or not catching the virus, I determine that I would have a preference for not paying the costs and taking the 1-2%.
I want a rational baseline, in the case that someone else has a rational baseline and wants to argue.
yes. look, I enjoy typing in a certain way, it is second nature for me... so if you can excuse that, I would appreciate if you can show me where I am wrong.
And what I am arguing is that you should not be wearing a mask, unless you are a symptomatic carrier of the virus. I am not a "mask fag".
I however believe that an innate truth must be given behind the derision, such that those who wish to engage in a reasonable debate have the tools to convince in a reasonable fashion. There must be a reasonable hold and what I have derived is an argument on why masks should not be worn unless you are a symptomatic person, but even then there should be a consideration for the self and the negative effects of masks.
Secession is legitimate so long as the constitution was broken and subverted. That is what the bill of rights as a document entailed and also was the argument Lincoln used against the southern state succeeding. Lincoln stated that the constitution was not broken or subverted therefore secession was an illicit act against the constitution and was in regards, "an insurrection".
The constitution has been broken and subverted therefore secession, by the very nature of Lincoln's arguments is legitimate. If people are not allowed to leave the union, when the union breaks its own accords, then the union is not a union but a tyranny.
okay... so, instead of calling an argument 'shit', elucidate where I failed in my derivation.
I think that things are decentralizing. A real economic down-turn from the governments perspective is going to get things going. Any plans would be useless, it is much better to consider all possibilities on the table and run forward and hope for the best.
Try being a better you and doing what you can where you can and things have a tendency to work out for your ideas and beliefs. Don't force an agenda, run yourself as an individual.
I disagree with you there. Crypto-Currency has similar utility to currency, like standard money ($), not only that it has many advantages of being out of the control by a money-printing government. The issue is that crypto has mad speculation and has not settled on a stable valuation and the people jumping into crypto, don't see it as similar to the Forex market (which is wildly volatile, but has a baseline for evaluation). They view crypto, similar to gold or silver, which maintains a stable evaluation over the long term, instead of something that is wild if not growing like crazy.
Crypto as a market is going to need to have the bubble burst as bigger players begin to move in. Only then, do I think that crypto-currency goes from a casino to a legitimate technological innovation. Once the bigger players adopt it, more people will desire to accept it and the worth of crypto goes up. What does need to happen though, is that some of the currencies need to die. There is too many that have no basis and no usage.
I think my breaking point was back during gamergate. I hated the people who decided that me, playing games online and offline, was a bad person for thinking that hey, there is a conflict of interest for a twine developer (not a real game developer) having sex with a games journalist. From then on, I could never trust journalists again. There is just too much conflicts of interest in that industry. And the radical feminists were annoying as fuck, always calling men out for being evil. I remember thinking "it's not like I chose to be a man, no one chooses to be born with a penis".
If only, I knew how bad things would get. I was 13 then... god I miss those times, when things made sense.
The trans-movement is just disgusting and takes advantage of people who have autism or depression and tells them the solution to their problems during puberty is to come out as the opposite sex for attention. I don't think we should be affirming mental illness and telling people this. And what's even worse is that there is no determination between those who really have gender dysphoria and those who are using it to spy all girls in locker-rooms. One of my friends, when going through puberty had gender dysphoria, and she is one of the most anti-trans activists I know, especially relating to kids. She sees it as taking advantage of kids during vulnerable parts of their lives.
I don't know about W. Bush, was too young, but... really, it seems like Clinton and Bush were like the exact same.
The Neo-Cons and the Neo-Libs are real similar from my view. Only real difference was issues like abortion.
I wasn't cognizant during that political time, so I can't be talk too much.
Crypto-Currency is most certainly relevant and real, but unfortunately... it is not this relevant and this real. The next financial crash is likely going to hit technology really hard... we are seeing another dot-com bubble.
This is fake. Please remove this stuff, if it is fake, some of us might end up believing it and then the media will come after us. Honestly, wouldn’t be surprised if someone is already writing an Op-Ed fact check.
I am pretty sure fact-checker check out this site to find things to fact check. Wonder if they like any of the memes.
That is not how rights work. Rights are something you are innately born with that can only be taken away and not granted, so if you want to know your rights, ask if you were out in the middle of the wild by yourself, would you be able to do it?
Privledges on the other hand are things that are given to you and can be taken away from you. You do not naturally have these things, when by yourself. It is a Privledge to be able to vote, one fought by your ancestors and paid in blood. All privledges have a price associated with them, one that is typically paid from others. Be grateful for your privledges.
And finally there're duties. Duties are things you must do to make sure that you maintain your rights and/or privledges. To maintain your right to your 2nd amendment, you must stop people from taking your gun. That is your duty. To make sure everyone has a right to live, you must not murder. (though, if someone impedes on your rights, they in turn forfeit their own)
In terms of the vaccine, you have a Privledge to be able to take it, paid by the tax payers. In fact, it can be said that it is your right to not get the vaccine, as you have the right to yourself and to your body. (With the notable exception of abortion as the baby has a right to live and it is your duty that if you get pregnant to have the child). In the natural world, you get to decide if you eat poisonous berries or not.
The guy in Georgia killed two white people and a Hispanic person is in critical condition. He just really hated the sex industry and was shooting up them because he had issues with sex addiction.
Horrible things, but not some anti-Asian lunatic. Honestly we have a problem with sex addiction in our country that we need to talk about.
