There is nothing more threatening to democracy than what they have done. Holocaust denial is horrible for a myriad of reasons, but what they did is actually worse than even that for democracy.
Yes, it is govt. regulation. I'm all for small government but N.N. is an anti-monopoly necessity, just like how no company should monopolize the roads we drive on, or as you mention in your other post, our access to the water supply.
With the stolen election and corrupt govt. it is a hard case to make, but the concept is that if the govt. doesn't guarantee equal access to the internet for all companies, it is unconstitutional/illegal and if all else fails we can vote out the corrupt people. But if a corporation is fulfilling that dastardly role, it can be even harder to stop them if the government has already legislated that such monopolies are legal.
Basically, we're fucked either way if the govt. is corrupt. If the govt. is not corrupt then it's easiest to control directly with clearly defined regulatory legislature.

Places like Texas may be able to retain control of their elections for a while longer, but places like Michigan will only be worse by next election, and new federal legislation will eliminate any chance they might lose next time even in places like Texas if they are willing to send in the national guard to enforce their new rules.

The state legislatures are a mix of informed and uninformed. If uninformed, it comes down to whoever they trust to provide them with an opinion to mirror. In the worst case, they get it from mainstream media.
As for normies, many think that if the courts and mainstream media are saying that there's no evidence, then there's no evidence.
It definitely hurt the cause a lot that so many prominent youtubers like Tim Pool either chimed in to more or less say "insufficient evidence!" or just avoided the topic entirely which is like saying there's nothing interesting to discuss about it so there must be no fraud. I'm looking at the Joe Rogans and Jimmy Dores and people who normally are happy to discuss govt. corruption issues. Buncha sellouts too afraid of losing viewers or getting demonetized.
