Also, you're misunderstanding my point. I'm not saying don't defend ourselves. It's not that simple.
You and I are not Jesus.
Jesus wouldn't kill anyone.
It's not right to use Jesus as a justification for violent acts.
Killing is evil. It's wrong. War is evil. Jesus as an ideal is beyond this.
No, it didn't. That's a painting that is incorrect.

I don't mean everyone, but yes, certain aspects of MAGA and TDWIN are cultish.
I'm sorry, but you're wrong. This will help clears things up for you:

I'm just going to leave this here. This breaks everything down very clearly.

His instruction to carry a sword is metaphorical here, but it is certain that he is saying that they will begin to face opposition such as they have not yet.
This is a major problem people have with interpreting the Bible literally. I'm sorry, but this is just wrong.
The painting is another example of that.
I agree with questioning, but I don't agree with questioning that Jesus wasn't totally peaceful and nonviolent, especially in the way it's presented here alongside the other un-Christ-like rhetoric on this site.
And this is not just about one simple matter, it's a complicated, multi-factorial, long-going issue.
I know what you're trying to say, but you're misunderstanding what Jesus stood for.
Sorry, this is blasphemous and once again twisting holy words.
I'm not saying people shouldn't own or use guns for self defense.
I'm saying Jesus wouldn't. What Jesus embodies is the spirit of eternal peace.
We are fallen creatures.
You need to reread what I wrote. I am not the one painting him as a warlord. You seem to have things backwards.
And I'd appreciate you withholding the name calling and insults, after all, I'm only sharing that I think Jesus is a nonviolent saint, the prince of peace.
I'm sorry that offends you, but you should probably ask yourself why. You're basically saying Jesus is a liar.
BLASPHEMY! HYPOCRITES! SLANDERING THE LORD'S NAME AND WORD!
This is the image of your cult. Twisted. Deceitful. VIOLENT.
Repent!
"You have learnt how it was said: 'Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.' But I say to you, Offer the wicked man no resistance. If anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also; if a man takes you to law and would have your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. And if anyone orders you to go one mile, go two miles with him." Mt. 5.38-41
"you know the commandments: you must not kill..." Mark 10.18

Please read through some of these yourself and be reminded.
You're a fool if you think this way.
Why is this stickied? Blasphemy. I'm sure many of you will attack me now and display more of your hypocrisy. Christian by name only.
I get that. But the left also had the same feelings when Trump got elected. Like the world was over. That Russia interfered with our election. That he was a dictator. Bla bla bla. Of course that was most likely totally untrue, and with Biden there is a much more serious situation where all of the bad shit actually most likely is true.
So, I understand there's a difference in magnitude here. Because what's happening now is unprecedented and much more blatant.
But the left MAY get more power back soon (emphasis on MORE - they are not gaining complete control over things - that's not how our government works), and if anything I think it is MORE likely that in 2024 we will get a better candidate because of everything that's happened.
I think regardless if Trump is in office or not, the MSM will be changed forever and for the better. Many people have awoken to their brainwashing and censorship bullshit. He will run again if they steal this, and he will fight in the courts for 4 years until then.
I think the breaking point will be this fraudulent, corrupt election, but that it will shift things in a better direction. It will just take time.
I do not believe evil is going to take over the planet for all eternity. I'm sorry, I just can't get on with that rhetoric and I see it over and over on this site.
I don't know, fren. I really don't. I'm just speculating. I can only hope for the best.
At the end of the day, I don't think there's going to be death camps, starvation, or anything completely draconian and that America is going to turn into a dark, evil dystopia.
I just don't by it. It's not a healthy way to think and leads to mental illness.
Yeah. Protesting. Suing people. Filing petitions. Going to court. Resisting orders peacefully. Getting Biden impeached. If any of this is unsuccessful, keep trying. Keep going. Whatever it takes. Working to make sure it never happens again.
I just don't think it requires a bloody civil war and turning against our brothers and sisters because of political views. Or as some others have advocated here, giving up on America entirely and saying it's over forever.
I'm with you there. He will never be my president.
Okay, so if Biden ends up stealing the election, do you propose that we kill all the democrats that are brainwashed by the MSM? What's the solution? Give up and start a war? Shoot people in our family and all our friends who voted for Biden?
Sword is metaphorical in that passage.
