Clarence Thomas is the answer to those who are fatigued of arguing against the anti white racial hate of CRT and flirting with swinging the pendulum as far as ethnic nationalism. Statistics is admittedly a real thing, however individuals will frequently surprise you.

I would take one Clarence Thomas over five Amy Coney Barretts and Brett Kavanaughs.

The DOJ will get right on that!

Seriously, we need to purge the commies from Washington, DC. We need to win a couple elections and then start helicopter time. (Metaphorically speaking, but we need to make it very undesirable to be a filthy, lying, traitorous commie.)

We need solid substantiation on this. I don't know whom to believe.

With that said, when the usual fake news fact checkers write articles like, "No, the vaxes don't contain graphene. But graphene is an exciting and probably safe product to have in vaccines, so even if they did it would be OK."

...you know they are at least nervous and hedging their bets in case the other shoe should drop.

"If you want to see a revolution go ahead, outlaw Roe v. Wade and see what the response is of the public, particularly young people,"

Wait, I thought insurrections were bad and those people should be locked up?

So election fraud is not a big deal, people should just roll with it and for the love of all that is holy, not peacefully carry any signs into the US Capitol.

But apparently not letting people kill babies is the end of the world and it's time for progressives to violently storm the SCOTUS building? Am I understanding this right?

I hear what you're saying, however I followed the link and consensus among commenters is that they can't find any factual basis behind the meme at the top. So arguably making fun of Fredo (an anti Trump scumbag fake news liar) is more important than the other post you linked to.

Happy to be proven wrong if you have other information on this.

It's not stupid, it's brilliant. Maybe you didn't get the reference or maybe you didn't follow the earlier incident in the news where Chris Cuomo threw a tantrum on being called Fredo, basically guaranteeing that everybody would call him that from that time on.

dahdahdah_dahditdah 19 points ago +19 / -0

In novel and film The Godfather 2, the character Fredo is the slightly dumb, total loser, older brother of Michael Corleone, the titular Godfather of a mafia family. Fredo has secretly been talking to an enemy family, and Michael blames Fredo for revealing Michael's location, resulting in an assassination attempt. At a NYD party, Michael gives Fredo the kiss of death and tells his shocked brother he (Fredo) broke his (Michael's) heart. After their mother dies, Michael has his bodyguard go fishing with Fredo, and shoot him in the back of the head.

Someone called Chris Cuomo "Fredo" a few years ago, which enraged him because (a) his family is Italian so he got the reference, and (b) it's an obvious parallel since Andrew Cuomo is (was) the successful, high achieving governor of NY, whereas Chris was just a loser talking head who professionally told lies for CNN. Now CNN has gotten rid of Fredo just like in the movie. Well, sort of.

Fredo: "It ain't the way I wanted it! I can handle things! I'm smart! Not like everybody says. Like dumb. I'm smart and I want respect!"

Sorry, Fredo. You sleep with the fishes.

Yup citizen journalism is now DOA.

Anybody who Twitter doesn't like will be censored. Outlets like CNN can still tweet photos of private individuals without their permission.

This isn't a "rule" because Commies don't have any "rules," but rather they just have different kinds of lies that they tell. This particular commie lie is that Twitter disallows posting photos of private individuals without permission.

dahdahdah_dahditdah 2 points ago +2 / -0

“ NEW: media of private individuals without the permission of the person(s) depicted.”

Or flip the question around - will they enforce this policy across the board, or only against people they don't like like Andy Ngo?

Twitter would be destroyed overnight if they enforced this policy strictly. It would be completely impossible to do, and very, very many photos would have to be censored.

Again, same. Watched all of them with my kids, except never watched the last one. We all loudly mocked the purple haired lady from Episode 8. We wanted her to die, and cheered when she did, albeit of course through a noble self sacrifice in a stupid, story line breaking, deus ex machina plot device entirely detached from any kind of world building continuity ("destroy the enemy by going to light speed directly into them!").

The only types of people who engage in this sort of conversation on the internet are glowies and people with horribly bad judgment. Which are you?

1
dahdahdah_dahditdah 1 point ago +1 / -0

No. If people roll up in trucks and say the cops are coming, I will wait for the cops to come. I won't go and pull the shotgun out of their hands, which action would probably trigger the gun to fire by my own action.

I can readily believe that the three guys were idiots and broke the law, however it also seems pretty clear Arbery was an idiot and behaved as if he was guilty and didn't want to wait for the police. He tried to grab the gun, and the result was both tragic and entirely predictable.

2
dahdahdah_dahditdah 2 points ago +2 / -0

I hear everything you are saying, and maybe there is a watertight legal case against the three men. However in the domain of not law, but real life, Arbery did something extremely stupid by grabbing the gun, and paid the entirely predictable price. I suspect everybody here would put their hands up and wait for the police to sort it out -- at least if they truly were innocent.

It is likely that Arbery didn't want to wait for the police because he actually was a thief and knew he was caught in the act of snooping in other people's property. And for whatever reason, Arbery did the extremely stupid act of trying to grab a gun from someone else instead of chilling, de-escalating and letting the authorities handle it.

dahdahdah_dahditdah 2 points ago +3 / -1

Why do you not have a right to have a gun in your hand? Is just carrying a gun making a deadly threat against someone? This is part of the slow creep of nullifying the 2nd Amendment.

I get that aiming a gun at a suspected fleeing thief is problematic. But did they aim until Arbery approached them threateningly?

Wikipedia is a lot like Google. Originally Google was an awesome search engine, because it did one simple thing very well - help people find what they're looking for. When Google dropped their former official motto "don't be evil" (not joking) and went totally woke by showing people results they "needed to see" instead of what they were looking for, their usefulness went down the toilet.

Wikipedia is the same way. Any topic remotely political is garbage on Wikipedia, just like with Google results.

I think all Trump supporters have been deeply freaked out and operating very cautiously since January 6th. It was startling how quickly the Democrats turned fascist when they knew they fully had their hands on the highest political power in the world.

Deeply freaked out doesn't necessarily mean compromised.

But regardless I agree that shills and low energy advocates for political disengagement should be banned from P.W.

dahdahdah_dahditdah 9 points ago +9 / -0

There are grifters here telling people not to vote, too. Deport them all. We are a high energy community, and life is complicated. We fight on all fronts, including election integrity fronts and also by voting every single stinking time.

Running on a far left platform during a strong national shift to the right. Good luck with that! And... uh... I hope election watchers are staying vigilant.

Harris is a tie breaker in the Senate. That's pretty powerful, although admittedly not as much as Pelosi has in the House.

On the plus side, the Dems have found a way to finance their 50 Trillion dollar spending plans - pay per view with AJ. Heck yeah!!!!
