We have the numbers to annhilate them on so many local levels, and it's all entirely in jepoardy now because too many people here think the Dems can just magic people into every district and pull the same shit they pulled in a bunch of complacent Democrat strongholds.

This is what's driving me nuts about the community here. What you said is absolutely true, but people here are either so demoralized or we've been so overrun by shills that they aren't seeing that what you said is absolutely correct. They are too busy crying in their cheerios that no elections matter anymore that they are ignoring that the vast majority of elections in this country still do matter. They bought into the idiotic hyperbole and sensationalism of grifters like Lynn Wood (who is a Democrat, may I remind all of you) and won't let go of it no matter how much you try to reason with them.

Yes, the election system is screwed in parts of this country. Let's focus on fixing it instead of acting like a bunch of idiotic glowies talking about "muh fourth box". Let's get some PACs together. Let's focus on who needs to be primaried and who needs to do the primarying. The rest of this shit is just LARPing and getting nothing of any merit done.

Truth is focused spending is the only thing that works. Look at Goya and MyPillow. They raked in money and got stronger from it. Supporting a business that does well works like gangbusters while cutting ties from a massive corporation never seems to do much of anything.

You basically can't. A lot of people here think any given senator magically has the power to do anything and everything we want, but just chooses not to. They don't seem to understand that Congress is a large collection of people who have to work together to get things done, which is hard enough to do even without them all being terrified of the media. It was why we need Trump's help primarying the Rino's out.

I've seen Trump being called a cuck around here, too. "He didn't fight hard enough. He should have done more." and "He was controlled opposition." are some of those greatest hits.

Anymore I come here maybe twice a week, and then I'm good. If something happens, I might give the site a glance. I went from spending most of my day here and basically living on "rising" to being so sick of this place that I rarely lurk anymore. This place is so full of glowies and people just wanting to bitch out anyone that will listen that it's just become completely toxic. No one has any ideas about how to move forward (except those aforementioned glowies, and no one wants to do the stupid bullshit they are talking about), and no one has anything to say that's worth listening to. I think that's the most depressing part of this year so far.

Here's my big question. If things really are as lost as a lot of the people here say they are, and the election system is irreversibly broken, why do the Democrats care about Trump running again? Why go through this level of effort to do something this pointlessly crazy just to prevent him from running again if they know they can simply rig it next time?

This is what everyone on the doom train forgets. The majority of the country still can vote and it still will count locally. This thing needs to be fixed at a grassroots level. The pedes in contested states need to be working overtime to fix this. It's their mess. Instead they would rather be here whining for someone else to fix their problem.

They are being ratioed hard.
