It's worth noting Trump keeps defending him. Why?

Does that even work? There's people I've tried blocking but I still see them all the time.

Hell not even gateway pundit is saying this. It's a total LARP.

Sorry about your dad. That really sucks. And I'm glad to hear he's starting to do better. I'll be praying.

Like you said, this virus is like the lottery. There's no way yet to know who is going to get hit worse or why. We just know it's a small-ish percentage of people who do get it really bad. Been saying all year "The virus isn't a hoax, but the media reaction is." It's worth it to take precautions, but not to destroy the economy and shutdown everyone's life who has been around the virus.

Yeah my faith in Powell is quickly dwindling here. She's using all this stupid hyperbole about the kraken, and asking people to sign a useless petition with no explanation for what it is with a donation page slapped on at the end. WTF is this bullshit? Either she has the goods or not, but this is just tacky.

Yeah, what exactly are people signing up for here? This thing is dubious.

Someone on here already proved that it wasn't the same plane and not the same Roberts. The Roberts from the flight log was the dean of a school in Texas.

Let's put it this way, if not him, then who? He may or may not do it, but he's the only one in America who could or would.

Yeah that is true. To me the best case scenario for the fractured party idea going forward would be to break both parties in 2, then merge the centrists of both into one party. So AOC Bernie types would be in the Socialist party, self-serving ruling class assholes and RINOs would be Democrats, and the rest of us on the right would be Patriots. The GOP itself would be no more.

Trouble is you're now dealing with a 3 party system and you run the risk of splitting the vote. Say the socialists somehow get 40% of the vote and Democrats get 25% and Patriots get 35%. Socialists win that election even though 60% of the people voted against them.

This is the same problem with our primaries. Everyone agrees they don't like, say, Romney. But when 8 people run against him, that splits the vote against Romney 8 ways, and he ends up winning even if he doesn't get the majority of votes.

That would explain why 25% of Republicans think Biden won.

I agree. My faith in the man is dwindling quickly, but the fact Trump hasn't thrown him under the bus at this, the most pivotal time in his presidency, when he's firing traitors left and right, tells me there's a reason he keeps Barr on.

I know this viewpoint always loses me internet points, but would the republican party (under any name) be able to win any elections while missing 25% of its base? That seems HIGHLY unlikely. I want the RINOs out like everyone else does, but there has to be a better way to lose their dead weight than making a new party that will inevitably split the vote and cause us to lose all elections going forward. We have to primary those fools.

I remember you making that anology about a week ago. It was spot on.

If 230 goes, so does Gab, Parler, and all the other alt social media sites. We need 230 modified to penalize companies that editorialize when they shouldn't. Otherwise if it gets removed completely, just watch as all social media sites (this one included) get nuked.

If Trump keeps the presidency but we lose this runoff he will get impeached and removed from office. This senate race is just as important as the presidential race.

EDIT: I have been reminded several times that you need 2/3 of the senate to impeach. So who gives a rats ass about this runoff then?

There's a simple solution to all of this. These folks who can't stand seeing happy families flip the bird at covid just need to get on the ground and slam their heads into the pavement repeatedly until they can't do it anymore. Saves everyone a lot of hassle.

Right because it's your works that get you to heaven. Not Christ.

The vast number of beligerant atheists and agnostics I know grew up in Catholic homes. That religion has spawned more non believers with chips on their shoulders than I can count.

That's not to say the church hasn't done some good and there aren't good catholics. I've known quite a few of those, too. But I've never seen other denominations flip people quite the way Catholicism does.
