Hope you're right, but my money is they are there as a stunt to further support the left's assertion that what happened last week was an insurrection. It's about optics and they want to show their coastal base that they had to survive "the worst terror attack since 9/11". Personally I think it's a funny overreaction, but they are going to use this as their excuse to have a "war on right wing terror" in our own borders.
I'm getting sick of hearing about how fucking heroic teachers are and how "under paid they are." Sure they might get 40k a year in parts of the country...but they also have some top notch insurance. Have a union that will negotiate on your behalf to get you the rest of the years pay when you're caught trying to get with one of the kids. Get a bitching retirement plan and if you can manage to teach somewhere for 3 years...you can't get fired.
