But, Have been in a few convos lately where instead of response to legitimate questions regarding legality, court proceedings, strategy, etc, the reponse is just "doomer and gloomer". Reality is reality. We all want Trump and believe there were illegal shenanigans that swung this election. Correcting that is quite another issue.

I think Gore sued in state court first after certification. State court sided w/ Bush. We thought it was over. Gore appealed to State Supreme Court. They sided w/ Gore and the recount started.

Bush team appealed to USSC. Ted Olson argued the case. Supremes ended recount. People always say that Bush won 5-4 in USSC but I recently read that the Supremes broke 7-2 in support of the Bush's equal protection argument. The 5-4 decision was in regards to the remedy I think.

USSC may not be of any help if it goes past that date.

Sen Rubio had actually proposed changing the Safe Harbor date to Jan1 months ago. But it went no where in the Senate.
