If I could do it again, I would have gone all in on Python as my first language. Don't learn any other language until you learn Python in and out.
Python is very easy to learn, and is extremely forgiving with the syntax. Once you learn Python, you can pick up any other language very easy as all languages are very similar on how they work. Don't over complicate your learning with a language that has hard syntax and strict rules. That was my mistake, and it took me much longer than it should have to learn programming.
While Javascript isn't the hardest language in the world, it is much harder in my opinion than Python.
Also buy BB and NOK. They are the next to go.
