And i know atheism isnt all that welcomed here and im totally cool with that and completely understand why. Personally, i respect and revere christians and christianity and understand how it shaped our beautiful nation. I even go to my wifes church for Christmas and easter with her family and our son, who was also baptised there.

on more than a dozen occasions, i’ll be sitting on the couch with my wife and son when a chuckle of laughter pops out. “what the hell are you laughing at?” asks the wife. i then spend 20 minutes explaining who “big mike” is, why he’s called big mike and then why someone saying that they’ve entered the chat is hilarious. more often than not i get the obligatory eye roll with a smile.
