In Jesus' day they thought he would overthrow the Romans, but instead he died and the Catholics took over, slaughtering everyone who opposed them. They thought he would be a king, but he died (yes, died) so easily without a fight. So people slowly began to invent a theology/explanation for this in which God temporarily gave dominion to the devil over Earth and all creation, but the misery and injustice of life is really okay, because if we just submit to authority and give to the church in the name of Jesus we will be saved from the consequences of our imagined evil after we die. See, some guy named Jesus showed up saying things that disrupted the activities of the Pharisees and Romans, so they killed him quickly leaving almost no trace of his having existed. 2,000 years later we are still praising him and making excuses for his having lost, and pretending that it was actually a victory. The victory is not in this life, but the next. Sure you lose in this life, but believe in Jesus and you'll be the winner "next time around".
So stop trying to .win, pedes, because the real way to win is to accept your loss. Trump will surely be president in the afterlife, just keep praising Jesus and be patient.
