Honestly reading through the comments here and have mad respect for all of you guys. You are way braver than myself. When I expressed my opinions on the Coronavirus I immediately realized it was a mistake.
Now these riots? I almost regret telling anyone I am going to vote for Trump. Luckily I have only told a couple close members of my immediate family. But I simply don't have the balls to face that kind of alienation for my opinions.
So with that being said, hopefully you might find it encouraging that there are likely a lot of people like me. Hidden Trump supporters that simply want to stay out of harm's way. We are here for you
Hopefully we win this war
I can't think of a single person out here in Cali that is in favor of AB5. Too many rely on gig jobs for extra cash because housing costs are so expensive.
As far as I'm aware it's a big part of the reason I think Garcia took that special election
Honestly at this point I don't this many are wearing mask because they are scared of the virus.
Most people I come in contact with going out are over the lockdowns and have been for some time. I would argue many wear them because they don't want to run the risk of a confrontation or getting dirty looks from people just to make a point.
For most the minor inconvenience of wearing a mask doesn't trump the ideological outrage of having to wear one.
I agree with this. The poster you're replying to sounds like they know a bit about the /pol/ ideology, and this seriously hurts conservative image in the media.
It's fine to be against degeneracy and trans story hour or whatever the fuck, but that's ideally where the line should be drawn in mainstream politics.
When being gay in general gets blasted by conservatives it alienates and undermines a lot of good people working on the right to attract liberals disaffected by the Left and centrists who are trying to see past the 'bigoted' lens MSM has used to describe the Right for decades.
Brandon Straka is a good example
I've been saying this over and over, the lockdown economy crash to damage Trump has massively backfired on a scale Democrats can't even comprehend.
Only the most severe mental gymnastics can make a solid connection to Trump = COVID = Economic Collapse.
Instead, people who normally are neutral / moderate / don't care about politics are seething right now, as we are now two months into what many people initially thought would be a matter of weeks.
Watching Trump stand up as a fighter for the economy may have been a move the MSM could easily criticize in the early days (old lady killer, anti science, dangerous etc), but now when people can't come up with the rent and are having to drastically change their financial lifestyles and quality of life all because Democratic leadership treats them like stupid children, those strong punches for the economy to reopen now appear to be many peoples saving grace and hope.
It really seems like only Dems who could never be saved in the first place are still desperately holding onto the Orange Bad Man narrative, because the Truth is many normies are no longer taking the bait and beginning to ask their own questions.
The momentum is on our sides pedes, keep with the optimism and distribute redpills whenever possible
I think the lockdowns will have something to do with it too. And not because scared Dems will stay home or GOP voter suppression BS, but because the partisan nature of the lockdowns have awakened a lot of people to the dangers of Democratic leadership.
People like myself who haven't voted in 9 years of eligibility are now finding themselves with a strong desire to vote and take some ownership in electing government officials.
I can only imagine the many people who are suffering over the lockdown are gonna find themselves with similar sentiments
Lol. Look at my post history. I agree with virtually everything you're saying, but for us to sit here and bitch about MSM incomplete and dishonest narratives will come back and bite us in the ass if this headline gets any more traction.
It's true, this is fake news. The head of the program who is referenced in this article has already tweeted clarifying this.

I hate her too but we can't be pushing headlines that are completely false if at criticize the MSM for the same thing
Just a heads up pedes and to preface, I cannot stand this women, but it appears as if the Twitter poster who originally posted that Ilhan Omar had nothing to do with the program has now tweeted that she has confirmed whatever funds she was soliciting will indeed go to the program.

If we want to be above the MSM and their lying tactics by posting a click-baity title but silently make updates to it later after more facts are brought to light, we have to own up when conservative outlets do the same.
Check my post history, not a shill lol, just making sure we won't get blasted for this in the future if we continue to push this headline.
This is really too bad. I'm in the same position. I can't use Reddit at all anymore after the Coronahoax.
Subs you would think are so far removed from being politically relevant somehow find themselves attacking others for your position on lockdowns, etc...
I'm happier here for the time being lol. Maybe it's time for the Donald to start making subdonalds???
Honestly your original post is probably the best post I've ever read on this site. I'm in a similar situation, LA doesn't give a damn if I vote Trump.
I've always been a-political myself, but grew up with a very Liberal mother and of course the LA culture has always been as left as you can go.
And despite all that, it's nice to hear people on this site who will at the very least admit that there are tenets of Liberalism that are well-meaning in the beginning. Its just that now, and possibly for quite a while (haven't been paying attention so much until recently), that well-meaning intention has spiraled into the realization of thought-crimes and wrong-think.
In my opinion, your experience on the other side is a strategic resource, but not necessarily for 'attacking the left' so to speak, but better served as a reference point for more passionate conservatives to understand what it may be like as a Liberal who is becoming alienated from their party, but might not be willing to swallow the Redpill in entirety if that makes sense.
I've had this passing thought as well. I'm not old enough to really know or understand what it might have been like during the days of conservative cultural authoritarianism, but I can only figure that those days are a lot of the reason the left views us they way they currently do.
My optimism as far as the pendulum begining to swing right again is actually coming from these lockdowns.
At some point, even those who have been hypnotized to the highest degree of fear will begin to miss and desire their old lives back. And this is all assuming that individual stays on payroll comfortably throughout the whole ordeal. In the other case, you can virtually guarantee someone who has been put out of work will have jumped ship from the left.
The partisan nature of the lockdown policies I believe will ultimately be the undoing of the left
Does this one have the chamber peek hole? Or the plastic piece that lays flat/pops up when a round is chambered or not?
This was my first gun actually. I was warned about the .40 cal but I learned with it and now shooting 9mm is cake.
