Plus on top of that, I can only imagine Trump is signing on hoards of independents and undecideds with how miserably the MSM is failing to cover their tracks.

I just saw the Birx smear article about an hour ago and couldn't help but think how unbelievably predictable that article was (in fact on a previous post here a few days ago I said this might happen to Fauci, guess Birx was in their crossheirs first)

That's the one nice assumption you can make about independent/on-the-fence voters, they typically are out there actively doing their own research and don't subscribe to one outlet for their view of the world.

Myself included, I was mostly a-political before this crisis. I liked Trump back in 2016 exclusively because he didn't talk like a typical politician, but as far as that went I had no interest in voting period, and I didn't think Obama was a bad president before that either.

But now that the MSM is so blatantly partnered with Democrat thought, that screams an anti-american message, ESPECIALLY during a time where Americans are rallying for positivity more than ever, I just can't see anyone undecided wanting to lean left.

It's possible others have a different opinion on this, but my thought is the willingness of the people to gladly give up their rights to leave their homes and shut down their businesses sets a dangerous precedent for the future.

I'll admit this line of thought rests on a slippery slope, and I hope the 3.5 million now unemployed over this panic scare are too angry to ever let this happen again, but really.. imagine a world where the government can force closures like this over any damn reason? Imagine what reason they could come up with next to put you out of work? Imagine ANY reason they could come up with to inject trillions into the economy, and have the super rich buy up broke businesses on the dime.

The idea here isn't so much the lockdown, I'd venture to say alot of Americans stay home more than they go outside anyways if it weren't for their jobs. But it's exactly that, a coordinated attack by sounding the alarms of fear all across the TV networks absolutely wrecked a lot of people's lives.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, the COVID dataset will soon stop being open to panic inducing speculation, as we have already began to see with that UK guy now redacting his doomsday scenarios. And once it does, all of those people who either got it and had some sniffles, or those who had never got it at all wont be too happy they traded in their jobs, savings, portfolios and general sanity for some fake protection their toliet paper forts at home gave them.

Be wary for the next attack on your freedoms.

True, just a couple weeks. Wait, who said anything about a couple weeks? I said a couple months... Wait months? Didn't you hear this was seasonal? It's a couple of months every season. Oh wait you mean every season every year? No I meant the whole year.

Is this supposed to be satirical being stickied on here?

"If you ignore this problem, the worst thing that could happen is that your mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, aunts, uncles could die.."

This reads like the same slippery slope bullshit that is keeping people terrified and pushing for this to last as long as possible.

Am I missing something here?

"Dear Listeners,

We regret to inform you we do not trust your judgement and ability to interpret raw information, as it is beginning to conflict with our interests as an organization.

Going forward, we will be digesting these sources first and then proceed to give you the information you need to keep your mind from asking one too many questions.

We realize this may be insulting to the intelligence of some of our listeners, however in this case the overwhelming demand for sensationalism and panic has made us realize that those who possess the mental faculties for critical thought should not have been tuning in to our station in the first place.

Thank you for your understanding"

While I acknowledge the massive stranglehold the MSM has on America, in my house Ive been optimistic that these lockdown orders won't last very long, and especially not anywhere the lengths the MSM will try and get you to believe.

Why? Because I knew that the odds of this virus being anything close to what they say it might be were slim to none, and at some point the raw data would no longer be open to panic inducing speculation.

Anyone who has ever engaged with me on this I simply redirect them to the numbers the CDC has on every pandemic, including the seasonal flu, and let them make an interpretation for themselves.

Many will still cling to the headlines, but some I've talked to snap out of it and see the situation for what it is. Pretty soon these headlines will start to fade out.

The real question is, which I've heard many people calling for here, is how do we get the public to remember how much they were lied to once this thing blows over? Hopefully we figure that one out quick, because we are running out of time until they find the next thing to latch on to

You know when he said that during today's briefing, it low key got me worried.

The reason being that so far the MSM has painted a credible picture of Fauci, and personally listening to him speak I am buying what he is saying as well, especially as he actively attempts to remain a-political and keep the discussion on the science and facts.

My worry is that if the MSM starts to interpret his factual analysis of the situation as hidden Trump agenda pushes, he will lose his credibility overnight. After seeing so much distorted information come through the tubes this past month, I have no doubts they will find a way to discredit our only authoritive voice of reason in this 'crisis'

My guess is that most of the #WalkAway Democrats lie in the moderate category. No matter how this is looked at, people leaving the left and moving right is a good thing.

Gotta love the endless live streams on YouTube. The best part about this is that the more they push for their removal, the more it gets people interested in actually watching them.

I know some people here think Fauci is deep state, but I saw him today in entirety overall he sounded pretty optimistic and certainly not panic inducing.

Totally agree with one commenter here that after actually watching a Task Force briefing and then seeing how they report on it is going to drive people up the wall since the headlines are so obviously twisted to evoke a reaction.

Yeah, sorry Garcetti, this just isn't going to happen. Im here in LA and I've seen more people out of their homes, walking the dogs, hanging out open garages and congregating with each other than I have ever seen before.

Could you imagine when the the weather gets better?

I went hiking the day before they banned it and never in my life seen the trail that busy. It's barely been two weeks and people are stir crazy, two months and I guarantee you'll get total civil unrest and most certainly they will remember come November who was pushing for their freedoms and who was pushing stay at home orders

What I don't quite I understand is that with the previous pandemics the US has experienced, and mostly referring to H1N1 here, how is it that Americans are only just hearing about this 'overwhelming the hospitals' catch phrase that seems to be going around?

How is it that far more infectious diseases have been allowed to circulate without mass quarantine measures and we've never heard a peep about medical infrastructure collapsing?

I agree with the sentiments that it's foolish to walk around as if nothing is happening, however there is no question whatsoever that what we are doing right now is completely unprecedented and based on numbers we have now and numbers from the past the response doesn't match.

I hate to murmer it to myself that I sound like a conspiracist, but I just haven't seen enough evidence to steer me otherwise that there is something deeper than the virus at play here

It's hard to say in public without being condemned that the MSM are responsible for amping this virus up in hopes to take a shot at Trump, despite the all the writing on the wall.

However the irony is, if there is truth behind that theory, the plan has horribly backfired virtually every single step of the way.

No matter how coordinated the headlines seem to be, Trump still seems to be coming out on top. And I say this too as someone who before this 'crisis', really didn't have an interest in politics other than that Dems and Republicans are both puppets controlled by the unseen globalist forces.

After many many years of not believing in the political system at all, and 9 years without ever being registered to vote, I am finally registering to vote and you can guarantee I won't be voting Democrat!!

Why is it that any news that affirms this drug is hard to come by via a Google search? All I get when I search Fauci and Hydroxychloroquine are the headlines from days ago emphasizing his hesitance to give the drug any merit.

How do you win a battle against forces that control what you hear and see?

I don't understand how at this point they can have any sane rationalization that will hide the inference that there is an ongoing attempt to prolong the duration of the Virus.

Will Americans really be unable to see through the 'hoarding' excuse they are claiming?

I honestly can't imagine how it can get any more obvious other than them directly telling us they want us in Lockdown for as long as possible.

What more are we waiting for here? Are Americans REALLY going to willingly accept that we should all hold out here in lockdown until a vaccine that is 18 months away is readily available?

Is this thing on???

Serious question here if someone can ease my fears:

Does the Right just not have a strong Twitter presence in comparison to the Left? And more generally does the Right not have a nearly strong enough Internet presence too?

There is a reason why Trump took the 2016 election despite the all the noise over social media, however I'm fairly new to leaning Right and it makes me uneasy to see such a massive Left response to the majority of Trumps tweets without making me think we just don't have enough forces in the reserves to secure a 2020 win.

We do have a silent majority correct?
