They will impeach him after the 20th.

The point is to prevent him from ever holding public office again, remove security clearance and intelligence briefings, and remove secret service protection

Impeachment does a lot more than simply remove from office.

If trump is impeached, he can’t run for president in 24

You don’t seem to understand yet, it’s rules for thee and not for me

If you think for a second any of the courts would have been the same if this was bush, Obama, Hilary, then you haven’t been paying

They courts ruled the way they did because It was trump

The courts are corrupt, congress is corrupt, the news is corrupt. All of the systems are fundamentally broken. We are now living with this reality. Americans and the rest of the world knows it

Because no senator objected, congress didn't go into a 2 hour debate and a floor vote.

GA went to Biden.

All senators withdrew their objection for the rest of the states. There are no good senators.

You’re very wrong about that timeline.

Even if things go trump’s way completely on the 6th the litigation will take some time. If things are contested we won’t know till the 20th.

The problem with these bill is not that they want to start with everyone. They will first start with the most egregious examples, set precedent in court and then build upon on precedent

Then they will just use it to attack political enemies and have double standards.

Look at the lockdowns. It’s for small businesses but not Giant fucking corporations. Rules for thee not for me.

So may be it does violate the 1st but unless it’s defended by the courts you don’t have a right

To simplify

If one senator and one house member of the US federal comes object to electors, Both the senate and house will be sent into a 2 hour debate

After the 2 hours, a vote is cast to accept the electors and what not

After that it goes to the president of the senate, the Vice President. VP announce the electors. In the constitution, there is no obligation or responsibility for pence to say something specific. He can say no one win, trump win, Biden won, or a cat won all the electoral votes. This had never happened and has never been adjudicated by SCOTUS but conditional scholars suggest that the VP has a absolute constitutional authority over this process based on the plain reading of the constitution.

After SCOTUS will probably get involved

If it is an contested election it might go to the states. Then the state houses are required to vote Jan 20 is the last day that everything needs to be resolved as per the constitution as written

Yes the 6th votes can be contested in Congress but it will probably be either Biden wins both legislators or there is a split between the senate and the house

If there is a split it might go to a us federal house vote where the Dems in the house will elect Biden

After that it goes to the VP where he has the responsibility to call out the cast electoral college votes. There is some room in the constitution where pence is not literally required to day the Electoral college votes that was voted on and can literally say anything. That will probably go to SCOTUS

SCOTUS can decide to give it to Biden or they can force a contested election and send it down to the states and each state has a single vote where republicans lead in state houses 28 : 23

Depending on what the states vote, that’s literally the last line as far as I know, unless SCOTUS decides to step into the fray again

This process can go to literally Jan 20

However on the 20th the new president will be inaugurated

IANAL but this is how I understand the current process

I thought I should share this old video when trump was elected in 2016 from japan. Pretty amusing

Ehh, I'm not convinced. I assume Pence is going to stab Trump in the back just like the 3 supreme court nominees; Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett; he put on the bench.

One of Trump biggest problems has been constantly getting backstabbed by the people he hired. There are very few people on Trump's side. Most of the establishment hacks have double crossed him.

A lot of federal judges he put on the bench have blocked election lawsuits. John Bolton, john Kelly, Bill Barr establishment hacks have stabbed in the back.

The route forward is through the outrage of the people to the representatives closest to the people.

Senators, and house members, as well as the state houses in red states.

Getting a single senator and house member can object to the electors and hopefully force a contested election which will send the decision to state houses.

This is where the people have the most influence as well as trump has the most power.

yeah that's why I think it was a cover up.

However, the GA SoS did have this video 2 weeks ago and sat on it.

I made a previous thread about this topic

The GA SoS had the GA video 2 weeks ago before Nov17th

https://thedonald.win/p/11QlB7eDhB/ga-sos-office-knew-of-the-ga-bal/

Sterling said investigators had pulled video footage from that night to determine what happened. Officials have said the state’s independent monitor was there to witness counting.

https://archive.is/rhkFi

The Secretary of State’s office is investigating how Fulton County handled the Nov. 3 election.

a water leak that delayed counting of absentee ballots, and Republican monitors who left their observation posts after being told all was done that night only to find out counting had continued.

And the most important part

Sterling said investigators had pulled video footage from that night to determine what happened. Officials have said the state’s independent monitor was there to witness counting.

GA SoS knew of this GA video 2 weeks ago.
