Well technically I got a free ride (ACTs and SATs are actually pretty useful) but still I get your point. If I knew about this earlier I would never come here but it's kinda late now. I'll sit it out and switch when it's more convenient.
A few notes from the footage.
1: It doesn't show the neck kneeling part.
2: George Floyd resisted arrest.
3: He said "I can't breath" before being on the ground, police weren't choking him.
4: He asked to be put on the ground.
We learned 3 things from the video:
1: He was resisting arrest and acting extremely high
2: He said "I can't breath" before being put on the ground. Police had nothing to do with his breathing problem.
3: He asked (actually begged) to be put on the ground.
I saw this post on r/news, as well as a couple other posts elsewhere. While a lot of redditors are ignoring the elephant in the room (the fact that the officers are the ones who "dinndo nuffin"), a lot of the comments are pretty based.
Can confirm. I remember one time looking at the post history of someone on r/pol, it was literally nothing but a bunch of posts from far leftie websites with no upvotes, comments, or anything else. Like it was literally just a bot made to spam articles from certain sites. It was kinda funny ngl
Same here. Leftists saw the horrific picture, and spread it far and wide to make people are scared as possible.
It's like in the old south, when lynchings were still a thing, whenever they lynched a black man they would leave the body hanging for days to keep people scared. That's exactly what they did with George Floyd. They left the body hanging for as long as possible to scare as many people as possible.
Same, it's so inhumanely cruel. Hopefully this will be a tipping point for people to finally realize the viciousness of some of these people. Though I wouldn't hold my breath
