Even if you closed up all immigration tomorrow, it's not going to solve any of our problems. All these morally and financially bankrupt government systems were put firmly in place long before mass immigration. Our education sucks because of the leftists and government influence, not because of the immigrants. Our social security is bankrupt because of incompetent government management and the nature of government accountability, not because of the immigrants. Obamacare, that was all a home grown disaster, not an immigrant disaster.

I understand his argument, but the truth is that a lot of these countries don't have economic liberties. A motivated person there will be mobbed by a thousand corrupt officials, where a motivated person here will be able to make money and grow. This mess with Biden, shows if anything, that often you can get much better results by leaving corrupt systems, than by working within them.

The simple truth is that an immigrant who comes here on a work visa is not free to change jobs. Basically, slaves.

I disagree, the real problem isn't the motivated immigrants, but the ones that come here to leech off of state entitlements. The left is creating this situation where they create all these entitlements to entice in floods of immigrants to leech off the system and change the vote demographics. If you solve the entitlement problems, than the immigration problems will solve themselves.

The motivated immigrants drive down our costs, add to our GDP, and send home capital to their families at home to start local businesses, which adds to the value of the US dollar, the leech immigrants do almost none of that.

IMHO, it's unfixable. The only thing to do is stand aside while the entire thing collapses upon itself. Then, pick up the pieces and start over once the dust from the rubble clears.

I'm sure he would love to, but the problem for the Church is that over a billion people are Catholic and most of them live in places that wouldn't put up with it.

The problem is that we have reached a point where regulations, instead of being used to protect people, are being used to limit competition and drive up profit margins. So these large entities are more than happy to betray us, when push comes to shove, because in a way they have already betrayed the free market that got them to where they are to begin with.

I deeply resent every paycheck they take money out of, because I know damn well I will never see a penny of that value ever again. Even on the paycheck stub, they lie, because they are really taking out twice as much as stated.

2. we have real world jobs and responsibilities
