Any of the streams that will let you go back to the beginning? I've been having to help with son's virtual school work and missed it all.

I remember that presser. What a train wreck and that was the first, true glimpse of the msm going full retard aka TDS.

And as anyone who knows Nascar knows, he'll fit right in finishing in the high 30's for the first couple of years as a startup team if they can retain sponsorship for that long.

And the RINO republicans think they can compromise and deal with someone like this...

Not OP but that looks like Whirlpool. Whirlpool is the only brand (including KitchenAid, Maytag, and Amana) that still is made in America.

Stay far far away from our friends the Koreans (Samsung and LG). Both of them are maintenance nightmares and prone to early failures due to the linear compressor they use.

Bought a GE Cafe French Door about 5 years ago. Just had to replace it last month. Five years is all I got out of it and only four of those years did I have a decent icemaker. Big steaming $3K piece of crap.

My installer who was installing our new Whirlpool said that my GE I was replacing was made when GE and Samsung were sharing a lot parts which makes sense as the interiors looked eerily similar to each other. Also explains all the failures I experienced over 5 years of owning it.

Whirlpool, Kitchenaid, Maytag, and Amana are all under the Whirlpool Corporation.

The Covid debacle has totally messed up the supply chain as others have mentioned. However, I had luck going to mom and pop places here in OKC instead of Best Buy, Lowes or HD. Seems like people forget about them and God's honest truth, they were $100 cheaper on my fridge I just bought last month. We bought a Whirlpool side x side counter depth and love it.

Samsung and LG have cool features (pardon the pun) but are very prone to early failures in their linear compressors.

Have you watched American Gospel on Netflix (of all places)? Highly recommend it.

I honestly don't know why anyone would want to visit anything Disney, They are openly against us, are full of child predators, and are destroying everything Walt stood for. They're an evil empire that is only empowered by those of us that are against them yet continue to buy their crap and visit their overpriced parks.

Biden can go piss up a rope. He's been in office over 40 years I think and his only accomplishment was enriching his family.

As a Linkin Park fan and Audioslave/Chris/Soundgarden fan, this never ever dawned on me.

I will say, Chester's lyrics he wrote must've come from a very dark place that thankfully, I've never been priivy to personally. They were always full of angst, sadness, and rage that only someone who had some serious demons could write.

Giving notion to this and looking back, both suicides were very unexpected and Chris's wife had made mention that he had never been in a better place head wise than he was right before his death and loved his family and girls.

100% agreed and the stats don't tell the whole tale.

I don't like Bubba any more than any of you do and as a Nascar fan, can't stand him as he's arrogant and seems to have a few screws loose. But on any given sunday, there are at least 39 other cars besides his so to say he's the worst is a fallacy. He's solid mid-pack which is to say, he's average. Doesn't help that RPM (Richard Petty Motorsports) hasn't really been competitive since Richard himself drove and even then, it was back in the early 80's when he was competitive as his later years, he was just ok.

The last really good driver that drove for RPM was Aric Almirola and he's now with Stewart Haas Racing and much more of a threat than he ever was a RPM. Bubba showed promise when he was in the XFinity series aka Busch series but has no where near performed to the expectations that were placed upon him. If he doesn't get a shot in top tier equipment (Hendrick, Stewart Haas, RCR, JGR) in the next couple of years, he'll probably flame out and be out of racing all together. That's assuming that Nascar itself will survive as it's been in a ratings plunge since about 2010 and the plunge accelerated when they started the dumbass stage racing and the old stalwarts of the sport started retiring (Gordon, Stewart, Jr., etc.).

Whataburger is still my favorite all time. Worked there as a 16 year old high school kid and learned how much goes into making a delicous, juicy burger. 43 now and realize that I chose wisely back in the day with my first job. Whataburger are big time military supporters and the owner before the buyout, was Christian.

Where do I start? Ok, ice/water dispenser paddle switch went bad which wouldn't have been a big deal if you didn't have to completely disassemble the fridge door the unit is mounted in. The freezer door gears in the drawer tracks had to be replaced. The ice dispenser spring behind the metal arm that rotates the auger broke. The icemaker freezes and clogs every single day.

The label on the buttons where you select crush or cubed have completely worn off (not a big deal but shouldn't happen on a $3k fridge). Also, the button you press for cubed ice has completely broken inside its housing so it's just sitting there and if you touch it, it will fall inside the panel. The hinged sealing part of the left door that flips out to give a good seal no longer flips out as it should so we have to manually flip it out ourselves. It's started making a very loud grinding noise when dispensing ice with a good intermittent thud. Recently, it's started humming very loudly when running. I'm afraid the compressor is going out.

That's most of it I can think of right now.

So, you can see why I'm against trusting GE again until they get their act together. Wonder if the Haier buyout will help or hurt. I know they used to be good but I've got nothing good to say about this particular fridge. Looks great and pretty in the store sure, but time has told a different story.

That's interesting because I'm replacing a GE Cafe I bought 5 years ago at a very expensive price that's developed tons of problems.

So as an appliance tech, let me ask you this. Do you guys (as a group) still think Whirlpool/Kitchenaid/Amana/Maytag is the way to go? Asking because we are buying a fridge today. Looking at side by sides. Are Samsung side by sides (traditional 2 door) with icemakers as bad as the multi door models. I'm just talking basic fridge with no gizmos.

Sorry for the hijack.
