You know, my pastor said something this morning that really caught my ear...Just because your doubting your faith, doesn't mean you're not saved. Rather, it just means that you've lost your way and need to return to Christ. No time better to return than the moment you realize you need to and it's never too late.
This struck me as most preachers I've heard have always said that when you doubt, it's a sign you were not really saved it the first place and use it is an opportunity to brow beat you into making another decision for Christ. Which then creates more doubt down the road and it becomes a vicious cycle of doubt/repentance.
I know I may get downvoted for saying this (I know it ain't reddit Thank God), but some of you need to lighten up a little. The first time a show host says something you don't agree with, you immediately change the channel and swear off ever watching them again. This is the same mentality as the lunatic left.
I know I won't always agree with the hosts of the shows on Foxnews but it sure beats the other options I have on Cox Cable outside of Newsmax and hearing differing opinions is good for healthy debate.
Edit* And in terms of mainstream media, Foxnews is still very fair and balanced compared to CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, etc.
I actually LOL'd at that one. Have an imaginery gold coin on me.
