And these "youths" were sent to the facility in the middle of the night. City officials weren't notified at all, and are furious about the situation. There was an article about a week ago, in which they said they keep trying to contact the feds, but no one will answer.

Biden and his cronies are opening up a new overflow facility in Pecos, TX that will house up to 2,000 illegal youths. Pecos has a population of 10,000 citizens. The town is also near the I-20/I-10 interchange, which makes me think this will turn into a huge trafficking hub. The sheer fact that this is being allowed to happen is absolutely infuriating.

They also sent 700 to Midland area, and the local leaders there are furious. The kids showed up at night and the officials were given no warning. Nobody at the federal level will answer their phone calls. That makes me fear that they're going to drop a few hundred in my city, as well as any 80,000+ city in the state. There's already been two trafficking busts within the last week in a 30 mile radius of my city on I-20.

They're trying to normalize this behavior in cartoons too. A few weeks ago, I saw some Twitter user praise the Nickelodeon/Netflix cartoon, "Pinky Malinky," for having a main character who has three dads.

As a kid, I think I would watch the theme song because I found it catchy, and then change the channel afterward. I have zero memory of the show itself. Also, is it just me, or did the animator use Richard Dean Anderson (McGyver) as his male facial template for Captain Planet?

Her fundraising link connected to ActBlue. I’ll be surprised if any of that money makes its way to someone outside of the DNC headquarters in Texas.

The fundraising link she used on her Twitter was connected to ActBlue. I doubt that money will make it to anyone outside of the DNC headquarters in Texas.

And they flipped consistently red Tarrant County (Ft Worth/Arlington) to blue in the last 2 elections. Coincidentally, the county’s election manager is a former Smartmatic employee.

My town is under a boil notice, because the power outages affected all three water plants aka they couldn’t filter the water. They finally got them up and running after 24 hours, but we’re still under a boil notice until further notice.

Posted this in another thread:

Apparently Sally Talberg was elected as Chair for ERCOT on February 9th and has been acting as an Unaffiliated Director since January 1st. Her previous position was Chairman of the Michigan Public Service Commission. She served on the Commission since 2013.

"Prior to the MPSC, Talberg worked as a senior consultant at Public Sector Consultants, most notably co-leading the development of Michigan Saves, a nonprofit green bank that has financed over $200 million in energy efficiency projects. She also helped staff the state's wind zone board and offshore wind council."

I'm also seeing Keith Emery on the Board of Directors for ERCOT who is Vice President of Origination for Tenaska Power Services. I remember there was a huge battle when they wanted to build a plant outside my hometown around 10 years ago. The biggest argument was that to build the plant, it would destroy a bunch of ranch and farmland, and I think people were worried that the water would be contaminated. Tenaska pushed for years, but finally gave up and moved elsewhere.

They don't. The Chair, Sally Talberg, lives in Michigan. A good chunk of the Board of Directors don't list where they live, but for many of them, none of their schooling is in Texas which leads me to believe they live elsewhere. There's a few who went to Sul Ross, etc ... but they're the minority.

Looked up their Board of Directors, and the Chair is Sally Talberg who lives in .... Michigan. Why is a lady from Michigan heading the power grid of Texas!?!

I wonder if it’s tied into her empty “Joining Forces” initiative geared toward military wives. I remember her and Michelle promoting that back in the early 2010s when Michelle was popping up on Disney and Nickelodeon all the time.

Even though he doesn't appear, there's also an entire episode of "Growing Pains" that is centered around his upcoming presence at a charity auction held at the Seaver's house. They stress over looking their best, and how he's going to land in his helicopter. In the end, they never get to see him, but he leaves a hefty donation for the inner city community youth center that's being built in NYC. There's also a line about how he enjoyed the common snacks served at the event.

So according to them, we need to destroy jobs now because a large amount of the population is currently unemployed .... thanks to the economic shutdowns that THEY ordered under the guise of COVID. And even though it takes oil and gas to transport and create these "jobs of the future" that the elite are highly invested in, they want to destroy current well-paying jobs so that we can send them overseas and make the Chi-Coms rich, happy and powerful while weakening America.

These people disgust me.

Never watched the movie adaptation, partly because I heard they had aged up the main character to 16, which takes away an interesting aspect of the story. In the book, the main character is 12 years old, and on the cusp of puberty. At that age, it is required for all the Twelves to begin taking a pill that stops the onset of any feelings of sexual desire, thus taking away their choice of a mate. The girls assigned the career of Birthmothers provide the community the babies sent to each family.

You're welcome! Someone probably already referenced this, but "The Giver" by Lois Lowry is another great novel to read. Target audience is 9-14, and it's full of great symbolism and themes that can be related to today. Just the use of black & white and color can be translated to what we call blue and red pills here.

A leftie acquaintance of mine posted on his social media that Miley should be singing "Party in the USA" on inauguration day. Couldn't help but laugh when I read "Panic in D.C." to the same beat.
