It's not audio/video, but I highly suggest reading "Life and Death in Shanghai" by Nien Cheng. She details how her life changed and was destroyed under the Cultural Revolution. Married to a businessman who worked for an American corporation, she became a target of the Chinese government. Red Guards (who were all teens and young adults) ransacked her house, stole valuables, and forced her to give up the other floors in her house to those who were less successful. She later was imprisoned and sent to intense interrogations that tried to brainwash her into being a good little commie. (The only reading material allowed in the jail cell was Mao's red book.) She remained strong, and was finally able to escape to America.

I read the book in college, but I don't remember it being that advanced in terms of vocabulary. What I mainly remember is how engaged and passionate the classroom was when we discussed it ... and that was 15 years ago. Her story would be super easy to relate to what's happening today.

Glad to know I’m not the only one seeing this visual as well. Saw another photo/video earlier this week with the same deity circle placement.

ABC is already uploading cozy video messages from "Dr." Jill Biden, and the magazines are slobbering all over Kamala. It blows my mind how normies and so-called liberals can't see how blatantly the media manipulates their perception of people in power and acts as an arm of the Democrat party.

What happened to a pen and a calendar?

There's a Castle Rock, CO that is just north of Colorado Springs, which houses the Air Force Academy. That's all I've got.

I live just a few miles east, so I hear a lot of the air traffic. I will say I did hear a weird noise overhead earlier tonight. Felt too short to be an aircraft, but this is making me question it a little more.

Dyess AFB is in Abilene, and it's the home of the B-1 Bomber, and the new site of the B-21s. Don Jr stopped by in Jan 2020 for a campaign stop for his dad. I live just a few miles east, so I hear a lot of the air traffic. I will say I did hear a weird noise overhead earlier tonight. Felt too short to be an aircraft, but this is making me question it a little more. I never really know what to make of Lin's claims most of the time, but given what we've learned over the years ... I say anything's possible!

There’s a commercial online for a snack box that shows the creepiest kid (he smiles, walks and bugs his eyes out like a mini serial killer) who just happens to be white and lives in an all white family. The family that has the snack box being advertised? Interracial marriage, with a black daughter. All have relaxed and welcoming expressions. Disturbing commercial that is way too woke for its own good.

That was my thought earlier after one of the ladies on the panel tried to argue that the 2016 Detroit numbers were similar to 2020. Gee, maybe that's because the corruption in Detroit isn't contained to one election cycle. It's always been corrupt.

Every time these witnesses get to a key bit of evidence, that stupid alarm sounds off. This is ridiculous.

3
digital_daisy 3 points ago +3 / -0

Oh, hello witness. You're talking about how Republican poll watchers aren't treated equally, and sent away while the Democrat poll watchers stay at the tables unattended? Plus, they lock others out and have agitators from their side hanging around? And the Democrat poll watchers are lying about police presence and the need to board up windows? Sound the alarm! You need to wrap this up in 15 seconds and shut up. Unreal.

How on earth are you supposed to present your evidence fully in a 3 minute span of time? Listening to this first witness, he's having to speed read through his testimony. There's no valid reason for the panel to rush this hearing. Corrupt panel.

Earlier, they said this hearing may go late into the night!

There's that mention of Beto vs. Cruz again. Given how the Tarrant County election administrator, Heider Garcia, who was a former Smartmatic official, was hired in 2018 ... it makes one wonder if the election was as close as it was reported to be.

Heard them talking about making sure the vaccine was "safe" for kids and teens this morning. Why would they need a vaccine when they're the least vulnerable!?!

I honestly thought this was a joke image until I searched the magazine myself. How bad was this photoshoot that THIS was the shot they ended up choosing? I'm not surprised to see a photo dripping with smugness, but it's an unflattering facial expression and angle. I get creepy old man vibes. If he and his ilk weren't so dangerous, I'd laugh at this cover.

And to think, the actress who played her daughter is Blasey Ford's niece.

They've been rallying there for the last two days. On Wednesday, they were at the capitol, and yesterday they protested outside the governor's mansion. I'm sure they'll be out again today. Check @ali on Twitter for updates. He heads the Stop the Steal movement.

**Just checked. From Wednesday through Saturday, they are telling everyone to meet at the Georgia state capitol at noon.

But why spend more money on Sharpies when it'd be cheaper to supply pens?

A lot of the smaller/mid-size papers (city sizes of 100-200,000) have also been bought out by USA Today, which has completely destroyed them.
