No, the Trump EO was signed in May 2020 which is what Biden's order suspended for 90 days. Trump's Secretary of Energy signed his own order in Dec 2020 which had more specific language about prohibiting the procurement of BPS equipment from China.

The U.S. energy secretary on Thursday signed an order prohibiting electric utilities that supply critical defense facilities from importing certain power system items from China, in an effort to protect U.S. security from cyber and other attacks.

The executive order doesn't allow China to access our grid, but it certainly could put us at risk if we start using BPS (Bulk-Power Supply) equipment from China (or other foreign adversaries) in our electrical grid while the restrictions are lifted over the next 90 days.

Edit: There was another order signed by Trump's secretary of Energy this past Dec that specifically prohibited the importation of Chinese equipment and that is thankfully still in place, as far as I can tell.

100%. Not sure why anyone would use BCH, knowing who's behind it.

What does the post say? The page won't even load for me. And if it is placeholder account, why is Torba posting from it, pretending to be Trump?

It's clear the majority of people on here don't understand how we came to be a superpower in the first place, or why it's important to expand our influence. If it's not us, it will be the Chinese. Just look at what they've done in Africa to understand their plans for the future.

It's one of the most insane positions the left has ever taken... and the majority of the country (dems included) does not support this pronoun / gender identity bullshit.

Yea, the Powell lawsuit is ongoing. They just sued her on the 8th, so we'll see if it actually ends up going to court. I was referring to Hannity, Lou Dobbs, Maria Baritromo, Newsmax, and OAN (they deleted articles but haven't issue retraction yet) who all issued retractions or apologies on their shows after receiving letters threatening lawsuits from Dominion.

Wouldn't be so certain. I think they've gotten almost every person they've sued so far to issue a retraction.

Edit: *threatened to sue. Looks like they've only actually sued 2 people so far. Rudy and Sidney Powell, and both claim they will go to court.

Not in SoCal. It's been almost 2 months since they've implemented new lockdown restrictions, and the number of positive cases hasn't gone down at all. Restaurants aren't even allowed to serve food outdoors here (only take-out), but of course, you can go can still go to the mall and shop indoors at places like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. Small biz owners need to stick together and refuse to submit to the BS lockdown rules, however it will only work if the majority get on board and don't back down.

It will get challenged by states and go to the courts, and I imagine it will eventually make its way to the Supreme Court. And while I know a lot of you don't have much faith in the SC right now, I do think they will absolutely rule against it.

I think he's legitimately crazy, like maybe he has a brain tumor that's effecting his behavior, because it's very rare for mental illness to present at his age. By all accounts from his former partners, he wasn't like this before. It was only within the past few years that he started having visions, and claimed that he might actually be the second coming of Jesus Christ.

That's exactly why a federally mandated minimum wage of $15 is a terrible idea, especially at a time when small businesses are still reeling from massive amounts of debt due to the lockdowns. Minimum wage should correlate to cost of living in that particular area, and while a $15 min wage makes sense in certain cities like SF or NYC (where min wage is already higher anyway), but certainly not everywhere in the US.

He hasn't banned it yet. It's a 60-day suspension on all new oil and gas leasing and drilling permits on Federal lands, which isn't that big of a deal as the leasing and permit costs have risen to the point where profit margins are very slim.

Fracking on private lands (way more profitable) will continue unabated and there's not much the Biden administration can do about it.

Not everything is a conspiracy. Some things are exactly what they appear to be, but many of you look for conspiracies around every corner.

There were 2 people arrested, but their crimes didn't have anything to do with the US election.

Italian police have arrested a former employee of Leonardo SpA and another individual in connection to the theft of sensitive corporate and military information.

According to the Naples office, the duo deployed malware dubbed cftmon.exe on 94 workstations, of which 33 were located at the company plant in Pomigliano D'Arco. The malware, described as a Trojan variant, was loaded through USB sticks plugged into the workstations and remained undetected from roughly May 2015 to January 2017.

In 2017, Leonardo's cybersecurity team detected anomalous network traffic originating from these workstations which were directed to a command-and-control (C2) server, fujinama.altervista.org. The web domain has since been seized by Italian police.

The malware was able to silently exfiltrate classified and valuable corporate data, including military information, and maintained persistence by automatically executing on each workstation at startup.

Not sure Biden administration will be able to remove him either, but it's speculated they will claim he's unqualified for the position and reassign him to a BS position where he has no power and no access to intelligence.
