Thanks for the info. I got that impression researching the proton vpn too.

'A VPN helps, but its not perfect.'

Dissenter browser from gab claims all the right privacy things, but it is based on brave which is based on chrome--I wonder if that negates the benefits?

VPNs are suddenly interesting to me with the threat of "social credit scores based on online activity"

First they go after you for what you post.

Soon it will be for what you read.

I wonder just how effective a VPN truly is for this.

From CTH:

The number of republican senators not running for reelection just gained another name today. Senators Richard Burr (NC), Ron Johnson (WI), Pat Toomey (PA), and Rob Portman (OH) previously stated they were not going to seek reelection; now Senator Richard Shelby (AL) makes the same announcement.

So Toomey at least has seen the writing on the wall (ahem jeff flake).

In the 2022 Senate races there are 34 seats up for grabs. 14 are held by Democrats and 20 are held by tenuous Republicans. Due to vulnerability, their lack of support amid the republican base, and their insufferable 2020 behavior outing them as DeceptiCons it is almost guaranteed the GOP will lose seats in the 2022 mid-term election.

I'm okay with that, as long as we stick a fork in these fucks.

Trees. Trees are definitely racist.

Concur.

And if judges just yawn and dismiss evidence of blatant fraud like greater than 100% turnout, then I think they have received the green light to be way more brazen with the stealing going forward.

Re-election should be the rarest of achievements. What deeds warrant that?

Not one republican has ever gone public with threats and coercion made by R leadership and whips, when we know that must be happening. Must be afraid of getting censured...

Bigly to the moon, Alice, to the moon!

True. The big argument is that it will split the vote. I contend that fixing the vote fraud---a prerequisite to any of these arguments---would put DNC in a severe minority anyway.

Even the threat of a third party is capital that can be leveraged to gain important concessions.

Too soon to make firm decisions makes sense. I think the landscape will change in the near future too. RNC has to be noticing a drop in fundraising, and the exodus in voter registrations, so I imagine the will be changing their tune and soon. Tune, mind you, not deeds.

RNC must be getting concerned about fundraising. Wonder if they have checked how many registration changes have happened lately.

True that. Thankfully even the least engaged among us are beginning to notice the GOP are all talk no action. And from there I hope the consensus becomes that none of them are indispensable so re-electing an incumbent should be rare based on Trump level accomplishments and not pretty words---providing we can fix the vote fraud ahem fortification.

I'll drink to that.

Kek. Almost worth watching the game if we could hear you instead of the announcer ladies.

I think that the 2010 landslide was a grassroots (Tea Party) response to Obama and not exclusively orchestrated by GOP. I agree with you that we are gradually growing the ranks within, but the leadership of the GOP remains wholly aligned against us.

Despite having majority in house, and senate, GOP leadership -- McConnell, Ryan -- managed to block Trump and everything good for 2 years until they could lose again.

No elected republican ever publicizes the threats made to them by the GOP leadership whips. They make based tweets, but we didn't hire them to complain back to us, we hired them to fix this. Start by exposing these corrupt party leaders and hold them to public account.
