Because the mother was self quarantining for the last 3 months prior to giving birth, but still caught the virus. She NOW has tested positive at the hospital. She is now quarantined by the hospital due to being COVID positive. Dad is refusing to test for COVID? This is stupid. You have a new born baby, you need to protect that baby and being stupid is not doing that. Even if it was just influenza you should stay clear of a new born....
