Anyone who has any desire to take Democrats out of power knows that a new party isn't the answer... Certainly not in the short term. There is a large percentage of Republicans that only voted Trump because he was an R, and it would be the same for many election cycles and likely forever. If we are to believe that states can be consistently decided by 10k votes, even the slightest peel off of votes from a party would spell doom
