As if this is a new problem. I've been shopping for a home in an old suburban Houston area I grew up in. The area used to be suburban, but now as Houston has grown over the last 50 years, it's considered close in and highly desirable. I found out a couple of small neighborhoods have lower home values, and I tried to understand why. It turns out the elementary has a F rating. The middle school has a D rating.

Looking into the demographics, I found out why. The elementary has only a handful of white children and only 44 blacks. The entire school has been packed by hispanic children. Almost all of them have low English skills. I'll never forget my ex-wife, a 4th grade teacher, telling me stories how hard she struggled with these children. She'd try and fail to get the parents, many with zero English, involved. I remember one particularly sad story of the kid who could not only barely speak English, but there were zero books at home. Zero. No wonder the child and a whole school of similar kids are now failing.

The predominately white home owners that the schools were originally built for have been pushed out of the public schools almost entirely. It's not a racial issue. It's an immigration, cultural, and language issue. What a pathetic situation. This problem has been going on since the 80s, but now it's going to get only worse from here on out.

They assert this is true. Therefore, obviously, it must be true.

"If people are willing to take the poison, then let them receive the poison."

Don't drink the koolaid:

I looked up the dog article: "If castrating a dog has this many adverse side effects why is it still happening? Most importantly, why are our country’s leading rescue organizations sterilizing their puppies as young as seven weeks of age, risking sedation and removing organs that produce a major growth hormone (testosterone) — especially now that there is a viable alternative? "

Why do all the dog nuts push neutering 7 week old puppies like it was some righteous religious dogma? Hmmm. Sounds a lot like any other righteous leftist liberal dogma. Have you looked at these people running these rescue and pet organizations, you know, like PETA?

Notice in these stories the criminal is only suspected, while there’s no doubt about the home owner? The home owner shot and killed the scum bag. That’s a fact. On the other hand, maybe the scumbag only came by to borrow a cup of sugar and the door just happened to be open? Better wait until all the facts are in on that one.

Oh so this time, no symptoms, no contagion, and not identifiable by test. Let’s shut it down before we all die, again!

I mentioned this to my sister and BIL as they excitedly told me they're on the waiting list for their shot after a year of CNN-quarantine. Silence. She could say nothing. Then, who's that? Oh well, sure sure. Just another of your silly conspiracy theories. We'll be sure to go to Politico and fact check that for you. Pretty sad to think I could lose my sister over this absolute fraud. This is turning out to be a Jonestown event. They want the koolaid. They want if for themselves, and they want it for everyone else.

I chatted with my sister last night asking how her and BIL are doing in their self-imposed quarantine that's now going on a full year. They are so excited! They're finally on the waiting list for the vaccine! They're finally thinking about coming out of their hermit cave, weak, feeble, and ghostly grey, but only until they have submitted themselves to the full and complete bullshit propaganda they've been listening to on CNN for a whole year. I felt so sorry for them. Such idiots.

I could barely bring myself to tell them just how full of shit they are after they've run snickering to the facebook fact checkers after every truth I've told them over the last year. I couldn't help mentioning that Marvin Hagler was killed by the vaccine! "Silence ...... Oh well, who's that? No matter! Can't wait to get my shot!" Sad to think I could lose my sister because she's such an idiot worshipping on the alter of CNN!

I've used that argument. It's a mic drop moment. They're speechless. Whatever the topic, if they have to censor their opposition, they've always been on the wrong side of history. There's no rebuttal, only silence.

yep. It's hard to separate Bill Gates from genocide. There's no doubt, that's what his plan is.

Isn’t it? I saw an interview with a woman whose husband had just died from the vaccine. She was adamant that his death shouldn’t discourage others from taking the vaccine. I saw another one where the father of the beautiful mother, who died, making the rounds here yesterday. He said the same thing. Her father! When I saw the first video, I was like Damn! That reminds me of Jonestown! I looked it up and found that quote.

I never knew Jim Jones was a socialist. Funny how they wrote history on that isn’t it? That Jonestown was a socialist cult utopia. That the suicides were sold as the ultimate virtue signalling. That Jonestown was just another perfect illustration of what socialism really is. It’s starvation, death, genocide. Mass suicide of hundreds of children, women, and men was virtue signaling socialist social justice utopia. Who knew? Yeah, don’t drink the koolaid. You got that right!

I like your analogy. It captures the obligation, duty, and allegiance that is intrinsic to the definition of faith. It’s not just that they believe crazy shit they saw on Maddow. There’s a certain duty, obligation, and allegiance to believe that crazy shit. That explains why they believe all this crazy shit.

You're not kidding about that. They get fired, they don't pass go, collect $200, or have any shot to find another job or even sort out their affairs. They're deported post haste to their country of origin, very likely to face instant poverty and no opportunities. They are truly slaves in our country working almost exclusively for the green card. Our government is selling us all out with the green card being the currency used to pay the price on all our heads.

It's way more than that. This fails to take into consideration the longevity of this policy. These foreign workers get their green cards and never leave the market. IT shops are filling up with Indian nationals, that is for the positions they actually hire.

Most of the jobs available are only the contract jobs. There they offer an hourly rate that appears to be equivalent to a low yearly salary. With no insurance, holidays, matching 401k, vacation, or bonus, it's not anywhere close. Because of the long term relationships with the contractor companies, they're also putting work packages on contract, meaning the work is only a 6mo project. So, the hourly rate is downgraded substantially by a period of unemployment. It's not just the foreign workers that are having to take these low wage unfair contract arrangements either.

This article also fails to take into consideration the effect on senior workers, only addressing entry and mid-career. In the IT field, employers are mostly only interested in hiring mid-careers. It's much harder to differentiate senior level experience from mid-career. Employers have been forcing out senior employees since the 1990s, and even more so now. Age discrimination has become the norm. The odds of young american IT workers having a lifelong career is slim to none.
