I mean, even with it being overrun with lefties, mobs, the annual dead voting, etc., Chicago was still one of my favorite cities. In less than a year, she's managed to completely destroy anything good about it. I will never go back.
I hope she(?) gets booed everywhere she goes for the rest of her(?) life.
It's complete and utter bullshit. The second news turns positive, they take it away. Not to mention compare the numbers at Bloomberg and the Atlantic. They skew worse in red states and better in blue states compared to the official CDC data.
It's really really hard to tie the death events. The exception is the anaphylaxis events that seem to be happening about 1 in 80,000-100,000. I am not aware of anybody that has died in those cases yet, but it's possible someone has.
The transverse myelitis and Bell's Palsy needs to be more closely looked at in the AstraZeneca vaccine. We don't know the answer to that one yet. The Pfizer and Moderna ones seem ok.
But agree with you in there's definitely an argument to be made for vaccinating old at risk people and leaving everyone else be.
Edit: typo
I think the adverse events are a misconception. All that stuff was the design of the vaccine. And the younger and healthier you are, the more it fucks you up (the bigger the inflammatory response), because your body mounts a larger immune response. The Johnson and Johnson trial showed exactly that in their recent NEJM study. So if you're under 50, do you really need it, or rather is it worth getting and feeling awful? Not necessarily. But it will drive cases down fast.
THIS. How come there can't be any nuance. Masking is flat out not supported by the literature. The only human studies suggest they don't work.
The vaccine DOES work and is safe and awesome and effective. But also 99.8%+ people are just fine when they get COVID anyway and most people don't really need it.
How come all this can't be true? Cuz it is.
It's time to throw Fauci in Massachusetts bay.
