When I was a grad student, David Buss, the famous evolutionary psychologist, came to speak at my school. His research found that men would be willing to sleep with their female enemies, but women are repulsed at the thought of sleeping with their male enemies. Men evolved to want as many mates as possible.
I voted in-person and early in Texas. I brought both my US passport and Texas driver license. The poll worker at the check-in counter didn't even open and inspect my passport. She scanned my license. (Texas accepts either a passport or license, but should really take proof of citizenship as a primary form of eligibility to vote.)
My dad's side of the family lives in the Greater Toronto Area. We used to go up there all the time when I was growing up. One of the things I noticed right away was GST. I was like we don't have that in the US. Now, as an adult, I know it's used to pay for all the "free stuff."
That's a sad joke. Canadians piss and moan about the United States. Yet they conveniently forget that our military provides security to them. Thus they don't have to spend as much on their military because of it.
Yes - their globalist and socialist policies negatively affect regular Americans.
