Considering whites were slaves too, whites were lynched too, blacks owned slaves too, blacks sold their own people into slaves too, why does the white man need to suffer the most for something 3% of the population (including white and black) did centuries ago? Every single country and including the tribes had slavery. Whites in the US didn't invent slavery.
If we are supposed to talk about what some people did centuries ago, then why are we not allowed to talk about the past of George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks etc??? The mobs recently tore down statues of George Washington, Frederick Douglass etc. Frederick Douglass's full name was “Frederick Augustus WASHINGTON Bailey.” He was an escaped slave who became a prominent activist, author and public speaker. He became a leader in the abolitionist movement, which sought to end the practice of slavery, before and during the Civil War. After that conflict and the Emancipation Proclamation of 1862, he continued to push for equality and human rights until his death in 1895. An advocate for women’s rights, and specifically the right of women to vote, Douglass’ legacy as an author and leader lives on. His work served as an inspiration to the civil rights movement of the 1960s, and his name even became part of 21st-century political discourse after he was referenced in a speech by President Donald Trump for Black History Month 2017.

How do you even track who originally lived on any given piece of land at this point in history. Conquest used to be a way of life.

The Irish slave trade began when 30,000 Irish prisoners were sold as slaves to the New World. The King James I Proclamation of 1625 required Irish political prisoners be sent overseas and sold to English settlers in the West Indies. By the mid 1600s, the Irish were the main slaves sold to Antigua and Montserrat. At that time, 70% of the total population of Montserrat were Irish slaves. Ireland quickly became the biggest source of human livestock for English merchants. The majority of the early slaves to the New World were actually white. From 1641 to 1652, over 500,000 Irish were killed by the English and another 300,000 were sold as slaves. Ireland’s population fell from about 1,500,000 to 600,000 in one single decade.
