It's true. All my life I've gawked at the phenomenon where you get one lazy, unruly person in a group, the rest of the group starts getting agitated. Soon, but not soon enough, someone leaves the group who was actually doing work and being reasonable.
Next another person leaves, then a nutjob gets promoted to boss.
Do this for a couple of years, and the whole business is just infested with fraudsters, losers, and nuts -- all making top dollar of course.

Reading this made me remember the video in, I think, Seattle, about 4 years ago, where some coffee shop owner comes out and personally derides a family getting coffee and resting at his shop. The family is doing some kind of charity work or something and the owner is just beside himself with righteous dignity to throw these people out of his store as loudly as possible. I think his crew did the recording as well.
