It leads them to over-saturate markets and people just tune out everything when that happens. And of course they are running a REALLY bad campaign based on only one thing. FEAR. As an example, how do you think that they can do exit polling which IF done correctly is VERY predictive of the end results ? Don't believe me ? Look at the UK election in 2019 and look at the exit polling. It was almost completely on target. People DO tend to vote in certain ways AS A COLLECTIVE group. As I said, in theory this is an OK assignment and COULD lead to increased thinking about both society and your individual vote. But the way the vile education system might use this to bad effect is also obvious. No-one should allow this in their school UNLESS they are sure that the teachers are not indoctrinated drones. Unhappily they mostly ARE indoctrinated drones.

Don't go by the polls. Rasmussen has been odd lately. VERY volatile. In any event the results of the debate are not going to be profound either way. For several reasons. A. Way fewer people watched the mess. B. Distrust of the MEDIA is at very high level. C. Most people had already decided. D. Of those who watched, the polls say that only a minimal fraction said that it might change their minds.

Just get out and vote and convince others to do so if you can. Forget the polls. Watch what the candidates are doing.

At this point, I'm firmly of the belief that 'the worse, the better' is the only way to go.
