The court ordered him to avoid any person or group “known to harm, threaten, harass or menace others on the basis of their race, beliefs on the subject of religion, color, national origin, or gender.”
So apparently the court is entirely ok if he hangs out with people who are known to harm, threaten, harass or menace others on the basis of their political views. But if they do it based on race, throw that bastard in jail. This is exactly how you criminalize thought
Now we're back to the same old political bullshit. A president who needs to be told who to support and who not to support based solely on how it will be perceived by the public.
REAL goddamn leaders just do what's right and allow the chips to fall where they may. Seems like we recently had someone who did that....
No, this is NOT denying someone their 2nd amendment rights. I'm constantly debating other conservatives, because I don't think social media should be regulated. I think the 230 protections that they never should have had in the 1st place should be yanked, but beyond that, I think private businesses should have freedom of association. We have a right to free speech, not a right to Twitter.
But that same principle applies here. This ammo company has freedom of association. They are free to do, or not do, business with whoever they wish, just like the consumer can do business with whoever they wish.
People have a right to bear arms. They don't have a right to buy ammo from this particular ammo company.
At this point, this isn't even a matter of opinion. The U.S. was founded on the belief that the individual is superordinate to the state. Our founding was inherently individualistic and anti-authoritarian. Yet socialism, by definition, is the antithesis of that. It's coercive collectivism.
So obviously they are threats to our entire way of life. Especially when considering socialism's history. At this point, this is like saying, "57% of lung cells think cancer is a threat to their way of life".
I've been talking about doing this myself. Conservatives need to take a playbook from the Marxists and begin some subversive tactics. Hell, it's basically their culture now anyway, and ideologically, we're the real anti-establishment rebels, whereas their repugnant ideology seeks to create a perpetually expanding establishment. (Which seems to negate the whole anti-establishment thing to me)
Good on ya. I like this idea a lot. Rot THEIR shit from within for a change
This is EXACTLY right. That's all I want. Simply to be left alone, but leftism will not leave us alone, because government is inherently coercive and universal by definition. Which means you either follow their idiotic decrees or be thrown into a locked cage by armed men. (but YOU should be tolerant and disarmed)
It's hard to quantify all that Rush has done for the conservative movement. He's like an old friend to a lot of us.
I have a degree in poly-sci, and I can remember in college thinking that I actually learned more listening to the Rush Limbaugh show than I did my idiotic leftist professors
Yes, but notice what he places the blame on: "America is bullshit".
So clearly this moron is having the exact reaction the left wants him to have. He's not angry at Biden for getting rid of Trump's executive order to stop the kickbacks. No, he just believes YOU should be FORCED to pay this cost FOR him at gunpoint. Which is why Biden got rid of the EO in the first place.
Surreal isn't it? I've been thinking a lot lately about how the history books will remember us too. But then I remember that victors write the history books, and Marxists don't exactly have a stellar track record in reporting history accurately.
So we'll be remembered as a fascist country that exploited the global population and almost destroyed the planet before the glorious comrades saved the day with their undying revolutionary spirit.
What about drug laws? It's repugnant that we threaten to throw adults into a locked cage simply for ingesting something into their own damn body. Not to mention, prohibition doesn't work anyway. It just makes criminals out of our non-violent friends and family members and siphons money up the ladder to actual criminals.
This has a lot of truth to it. I've been a libertarian for a long time now, and one thing I've definitively determined about collectivists, is that many of them despise individualists simply because they aren't willing or capable of making it on their own, so they despise people who are.
Whether they realize it or not, that feeling of resentment underpins their political views. Pathetic really.
I'll happily place a vast majority of the blame for this on to the Democrats, but I'm personally not willing to give Trump a pass on this one. One of the main reasons prices on EVERYTHING are sky rocketing right now is because of the all the money that is being created in the form of debt due to obnoxious government spending.
In 2016, Trump repeatedly stated he could alleviate the debt through economic growth alone, and that there was no need to cut federal spending. Anyone capable of basic math knew that was total bullshit. Well here we are. He got the growth he wanted, but also managed to amass more debt in 1 term than any other president did in 2, including Obama.
This is really my only significant criticism of Trump. He was a great POTUS, but his position on federal spending is unacceptable. The national debt, and its corresponding interest payment, is rapidly becoming our nation's biggest existential threat and there is NO WAY to solve it without DRAMATIC spending cuts.
If the left can pick and choose which federal laws they'd like to follow and allow sanctuary cities, than TX can damn well choose to defend its own border. It's time for conservative states to start picking and choosing which federal laws THEY want to follow.
Christ, it's the left who loves to use government force and laws for anything and everything. They don't want to get into this kind of contest with us.
This attitude is getting a little frustrating. So what's your plan, do nothing and allow the U.S. to be taken by Marxists because leftists interfered in an election?
If Dominion is the problem, let's get Dominion the hell out of our elections. If we meet resistance WE GO THROUGH IT. It's time to be tenacious, not defeatist.
