I've met a LOT of amazing doctors running EMS. Honestly, even some of the outspoken liberals I get along with professionally. Do right by me and I will respect you. Talk down to me and you're going to get every c-diff patient in your ER for the duration of your shift.
As an EMS provider, you don't want to know how many ER nurses have gone out of their way to try to assert dominance over me in the medical field. It's exactly the same amount of nurses I've told to "go make another fucking tiktok video in your warzone."
The best and WORST people to run EMS with are ER medtechs and nurses. You either get someone who is a rock star, or someone who thinks they fucking know everything under the sun and they own the boo boo bus. Nothing in between.
