Correct. I get it at the beginning of all this. We didn't have the data, and couldn't rely on China to give us an accurate picture of what was going on. Now we know a lot more about this virus and we are starting to see that this is WAY more prevalent than first believed. And the result is that the mortality rate will decline dramatically. Maybe not to "flu" levels, but close. And yet the apocalyptic language is ramping up. The goalposts are being moved, so instead of "flattening the curve," which we've done successfully, it is now about "saving lives." Now you are seeing the loss of constitutional rights. This is not just about denying Trump the White House again in November, this is about forcing their wet dream of communist policies on a presumably compliant American populace. This will not work. The public is wise to this. I thank God every day that we got GEOTUS in the White House at this moment. Couldn't imagine how things would be different with Satan in the WH instead. Gird your loins, pedes, the next few weeks will crucial.
One thing I will say regarding this Wuhan Flu nonsense. It has given me an opportunity to really revitalize and explore my faith. I am a practicing Catholic and do make it to Sunday Mass weekly, but watching daily Mass online has been wonderful. Spending more of my days in prayer. Watching Biblical scholars online, learning about biblical relics (ie Shroud of Turin). In turn it is bringing my family closer together. As miserable as this situation is, I hope many people are using this opportunity to grow in holiness. I'm certainly not afraid.
If you look at the abstract, linked in the tweet, it says that of “the 3,165 positive patients placed in the care of our institute, 1061 previously unpublished patients met our inclusion criteria.” Which means that 2100 patients didn’t receive the treatment? I wonder what the inclusion criteria are? How did the 2100 other patients do? Wouldn’t they essentially be a control population? Or maybe these were patients previously studied? It would be nice if this was outlined in the paper.
