There are dozens of posts on .win saying this is not real. If you know someone in Italy, you really should speak to them now. I am in regular contact with a friend in Milan, the epicenter of the contagion. The terrible situation there is real and getting worse. When hospitals become overrun with Wuhan flu patients, people die. People who would normally get treatment and live, get little or no treatment and die. This is real. This is happening. No need to panic. No need for mass hysteria. However, we need to take steps to stop a horrible situation from developing. I hope every American patriot will follow the guidelines issued yesterday by President Trump.
When I click on TOP and sort by All Time I get no posts. Actually, the only sort that works is Past Hour. Am I the only one? Does anyone know what the issue is?
I got my first threat on Reddit yesterday. I'm pretty proud about it!
It was titled "Threat." Here's the message: "Threat from [deleted] sent 8 minutes ago Hey just a heads up You're probably going to get shot this week going to the store. Watch out for an unmarked green van. Drivers are maniacs these days!"
I think (but not sure) it was in response to a thread I started about how the U.S. is on the edge of a great history-altering event. The post was deleted by mods and I'm not sure why.
Do a lot of you receive threats?
Is it the election of Obama? The 2016 election? Hillary’s “exoneration” by Jim Comey? FBI corruption? Maybe even the 2019 Democrat takeover of Virginia?
Scholars look back to big, history-altering events and find causes and effects that in hindsight appear understandable and unambiguous. Think of the causes of the Civil War or World War II that you learned in high school. It is interesting that the people living through the events, or even persons central to the events, often do not realize the real consequences or significance of the events they are witnessing.
Are we any different; any more prescient than our forefathers? I’ve talked to many conservative Trump supporters. Almost to a person, they believe we are now in the front winds of a dreadful, catastrophic hurricane that will soon make landfall-- the equivalent of the Election of Lincoln or the Bombing of Pearl Harbor.
A Great Reckoning is coming, I am sure. My questions to you: Do you agree that we are at the start of a coming great history-altering event? If so, has the spark that fires the fuse already occurred? What do you view as the event that future historians will point to as the event that made the big occurrence inevitable?
Just an FYI. This is for all you pedes who may not know the origin of the phrase "cross-fire hurricane," the FBI code name for their investigation into Trump/Russia collusion. The term comes from the Rolling Stones song, "Jumping Jack Flash." It is in the first line of the song: I was born in a cross-fire hurricane and I howled at my ma in the driving rain, but it's alright now, in fact, it's a gas! I'm Jumping Jack Flash! It's a gas, gas, gas!
