Yesterday I was passing by some people watching MSM, and saw two "news" (propaganda) reports back-to-back. In the first they basically said, "Don't worry, when the refrigeration failed... all of these vaccines weren't ruined! Don't cancel your appointments! Come on in to get jabbed!" The second was prioritizing vaccines for the disabled.
Now... from the start, my thought was, "this disease isn't deadly [to me, at least], why the hell would I want to be vaccinated for it?" That was before I thought about Bill Gates and his stupid overpopulation theory. That was back when it was politicized as "The Trump Vaccine." That was before the nurse fainted on live TV after her jab. It was before reports of Bell's Palsey (that are totally worth it!) It was before rumors of infertility. It was before Hank Aaron died, after being publicized as having gotten the vaccine, to inspire others to do the same. Now, it's possible some of those things are coincidental, but none of them made me want the vaccine any more than I did before.
So when they say they want to prioritize vaccines for the disabled... it makes me think of Margaret Sanger, who inspired a certain regime. It makes me think... "So, are they also going to prioritize it for... the elderly... convicts... the poor... the undesirables? The drains on society? The deplorables?"
...Just curious.
I work graveyard, and just woke up. ...What's going on with stocks? What stock? Why was the subreddit closed?
Fuck doom. I like to balance realistic expectations with hope/faith/optimism. (I have clinical anxiety/major depression, probably have for most, if not all of my life. I'm no stranger to doom/pessimism/cynicism. Took me a long time to get over that, with baby-steps into apathy, prior to my diagnosis. But enough about me.) I want to hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst. Murphy's Law, etc. When I get anxious like this, I try to think of all the potential outcomes, and rank them by severity, likelihood, and how they will or won't affect me, and how I'll deal with each.
So what's the worst case scenario? Usually I calm myself down by starting with it's not the end of the world. In this case, though... I don't think I'll take that off the table! The U.S. is the cavalry, or world police. If we continue down the Marxist road, it's game over. I don't think the world will explode at noon tomorrow, and I don't think civilization will collapse overnight. We have a pretty large population, and that's what's kept most socialist regimes going for as long as they have, i think. Most of us will probably survive a level or two above subsistence for a while. We'll vote, some of us, the way some people play scratchers, thinking they'll one day be able to solve all their problems. It'll be a slow and steady march to... well, for lack of a better word, doom. I'll keep going to work and paying my bills as best I can for as long as I can, and one day, die. Possibly in a gulag.
Another possibility - PedoJoe blunders along as #46, until his dog bites him and gives him Chinese Wheeze while he's taking a bath, or he chases some kid naked, until the kid outsmarts him by going down stairs. His neck breaks, both of his aneurisms explode, and the cackling of a witch (or is that, bitch?) signals the inauguration of #47. Extreme left policies are pushed for at least two years. China and Iran grow stronger. Either it's all show-elections from this point onward, or, because enough eyes have finally been opened (perhaps on both sides of the aisle, even), somebody, somehow, finally, insists on full-accountability. We're back to two minutes til midnight again, because at this point, in my opinion, after everything that's been exposed, honest elections mean the end of at least the Democrat party. If that happens, congress is taken back, Camela is out on her ass, and we begin rebuilding the country again. This may be the most likely outcome, narrowly edging out worst case.
Third, the one many of us are hoping for, I think, is that somewhere between 0500 and 1159 hours in DC, magic happens. GEOTUS steps outside with Lin Wood, Rudy Giuliani, Sydney Powell, General Flynn, Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, and the rest, everything in the world is declassified and disclosed, the military arrests and tries most of our government and their lackeys. Might lead to civil/world war, might begin a period of martial law that many of us will gladly welcome, or might, with LUCK, be a peaceful transition to a new administration. I honestly don't know how likely any part of this one is. Possibly the least, but there's a lot of circumstantial stuff going on, that could be read either way. Requires thinking that THE BEST has to wait until the very end, in order for it to be pulled off. (That, or he's a master showman, and wants to build suspense, which I don't believe.) I'm a slightly christian-leaning agnostic; been a long time since I ever really prayed for anything, but honestly, this is what I will pray the most for. Starting once I hit 'save' on this post.
Fourth, (you knew this was coming): BOOOOOOOOOG! Secession of patriotic states; Texas, Wyoming, etc. leave the former union. This will weaken congress, and not in a good way, because patriots from those states will obviously no longer be recognized. Patriots trapped in blue states either escape, or bide their time. It's throwing down a gauntlet at what remains of the union. They can either kick off the boog, or politic - but I think that the latter inevitably leads to the former, unless the free states pose a significant enough threat. Note that we do have foreign allies who would likely ally with the free states. Unfortunately... we have foreign enemies, too, who would love to either assist in completing the destruction of the U.S., or lend material aid, and take on what's left afterward. How likely is this? Well... it's Happening, or at least taking steps in that direction. I don't think it's inevitable at this point, there's still time to step back from it, but it should be taken seriously. I think full-on boog is at least a little less likely than at least the first two, if not the third also (sniffing hopium).
I'm really not sure what'll happen, at this point. Maybe the people behind the scenes don't know what will happen yet, either.
Have I missed any? What seems most likely to you?
.
When we finally start this thing... I think we need to set down clearly defined principles, that all party politicians must abide by. Violating any one of them should result in immediate expulsion from the party. We should be done with -INOs. No fakers in the new party. Our vote is not for a candidate, but for our ideals, and we should only support those candidates who uphold them.
Not a doomer, but I have been discouraged for moments, in recent days. When I need to feel better, I come here, and you guys are always there to shed light on the darkness.
I consider myself to have "average" intelligence. By default, I'm not the smartest guy in the room - because I try to surround myself with people smarter in various ways than I am. When it occurs to me that I actually am the smartest person in the room, I feel very uncomfortable. It's one thing to laugh at the George Carlin line, “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.” and something else entirely to realize, sadly, that he was right... and half is a lot of people. Then, I come here and give thanks, because I found some of the other half.
It's my brother. We both live in our parents' house, currently. Me, because I'm working hard to pay off old debts, him because he's trying to avoid them (surprise). Our rooms are like ten feet apart. Due to that, I unfortunately have to hear crap like Steven Colbert, now and then. I usually roll my eyes, thinking, "God, that's painfully unfunny..." I used to think, "What's more pathetic than watching Steven Colbert?" I found out. It's watching TYT. I honestly didn't think anybody watched TYT, other than conservative YTers, mining salt. My brother watches it unironically. But the good part... is that if he's even watching it, it's pathetic - and today, he started yelling at it, when somebody came on to argue facts. I'm taking that as a good sign.

Throws shade at Tracy Chapman for her commie song, in the first line. "A woman on the radio, talkin 'bout revolution , when it's already passed her by." Goes on to celebrate the fall of the Soviet Union, which I remember doing as a young teen. Knew it was huge, historically-speaking, back then. We're right in the middle of history right now, on many fronts. Can't wait to celebrate, again. Fuck communism.
In the middle of an unrelated conversation I was in, with somebody I would not have assumed to be conservative, I got this: 170k votes in Michigan have just been discovered to not have a trace to a registered voter in Michigan. It was in the middle of a word, in the middle of a totally unrelated sentence, and I was like, "Dude, what did you just say?" Then he apologized, said he had no idea where it came from, and that he was on a work computer, he accidentally hit ctrl-v, and assumed some coworker before him had it in the buffer, for some reason. Still, though... the message is getting out. Don't know if it got absorbed by the guy that accidentally pasted it, but sounds like it got to somebody, at least.
In fact, it wasn't always cold. Korea and Vietnam certainly weren't cold. Those of us who lived through it, breathed a huge sigh of relief when the Soviet Union fell. It was a massive blow, and a bright spark of hope. Jesus Jones called out Tracy Chapman in a single, dismissive line about her "revolution", in "Right Here, Right Now" (a better song than even I thought, at first). However, as long as Marxism remains, the war rages. In fact, I'd argue that it went hot again, back in February. China launched a biological attack on the US. Maybe it wasn't an all-that-impressive attack, and it basically had to be helped along by Democrat traitors, in order to maximize impact (encouraging people to "go to Chinatown" and not be racist to Chinese, and murder nursing home residents, by forcing infected elderly into them), and then lie about its effectiveness, while blaming GEOTUS. I think that should be considered an act of war, though, and I wouldn't be surprised if the SARS scare back in the 00s was an early attempt, or at least, test. China's basically sneaking around mutually-assured destruction, by going from nuclear to biological. What do we do about it, though? GEOTUS could claim wartime exemption to his term limit(s), but I don't think it should (or would) escalate to a boots-on-ground, shots-fired level of war. I do think the temperature will raise during Term 2 though (which I am all-but-assured-of).
Epstein's death was sus as fuck. BLM's "martyrs" were felons resisting (often violently) arrest. Smollet's hoax was immediately obvious. Covid is a lie used to try to control people. I knew it was overblown from the start. Most likely something to blame GEOTUS for, possibly intentionally released by China. The democrat party was caught trying to blatantly steal the election. Alex Jones is starting to sound more sane, to me. I feel sick of continuously having to go along with all these lies - and this is the only place I feel like I can express myself.
...voting in person, to save the world from the vile specter of Marxism.
If Obama can invite a kid who was a repeat trouble-maker, for pulling a race-baiting prank and rightfully getting disciplined for it, can you invite a law-and-order supporting patriot, who risked his life protecting himself and others? Kyle Rittenhouse didn't want trouble - Ahmed Mohammed was looking for just that. He didn't "invent" a damn thing. He pulled the case off a clock, and stuck the guts in a metal pencil case, in order to scare people into thinking it was a bomb, and disrupted class as he did, so that he could call his teacher a racist. What Ahmed did was disgusting, and Obama (and others!) rewarded him for it. I was not happy that he was invited to The People's House. I would be proud to host Kyle Rittenhouse there. We should have the best guests.
With major sports leagues failing, wouldn't it be a good time for new sports leagues to launch? I think if new leagues started up right now, when the others are protesting and losing money, they could do well. Two rules: honor the flag/anthem, and no politics.
Hot take that just crossed my mind: what Ds are showing now, at their bottom, was always at their core. They just didn't have to show how deep their corruption went, before. The only thing that has changed is their desperation.
