Big thanks to Sean Reyes. I'm surprised to see he doubled down after Holy Cox came out yesterday and said "Sean didn't ask me permission before he signed the amicus!" It gives me hope for this weirdo state.

That story really really is one of the prophetic ones. Really encapsulates clownworld in a five minute short story. The smart people of the world are given earbuds that scream noises to distract them. The beautiful are given horrible masks so they can’t offend the ugly. Harrison Bergeron is the ultimate Chad to fight against the soyjack virgin world.

I'm literally in the same situation. I don't know if I'm in any place to give advice. But at the very least, there's more of us out here feeling the same way, if that's any comfort.

Thank you for your kind words. It's always nice to hear people actually have good experiences with Latter-day Saint friends.

I believe in personal revelation through the scriptures, that the Holy Spirit can reveal further light and truth to every human soul. Like you say, that may act as different interpretations, and we'd all turn out the better by sharing the things we learn.

For example, for those of us who are more partial to an organized religion, I think we have much to learn from our more evangelical friends about the power of mercy and grace. I'm sure not getting to any kind of paradise of my own merit, that's for certain. That's something I've learned from some of my friends.

That sounds like a nice idea. From the Mormon perspective, it’s always kind of fun to talk church with our other-sectarian friends. You have to be a little bit secretive. If you let slip that you’re one of the Mormons, all of a sudden you get a lot of crap flying at you, and you get to really pull out the debate skills. It keeps you on your toes.

But honestly, it would nice to come together and have a reading club or something.

Lol that is hilarious. I gotta say, as much fun as it has been to be a Defender of the Faith in this comment section, The Mormons really are a strange culture.
