Its possible they just weren't aware it was happening. I spend a lot of time with plenty of twenty-somethings that would chomp at the bit to be there. People my age just don't spend much time on Facebook or are in the comms network of the average attendee there. In portland however, the twenty somethings are worthless, so YMMV.

I watched Digg, Reddit, Vice, Atlas Obscura, Arfcom et al. fall for the external money nonsense. RINOs aren't on our side either, and the Republican party is chock full of them. Vastly prefer a (not even that much) limited site over any external money which always comes with strings about "behavior" or "conduct" rules. Even taking money from Brownells neutered arfcom horribly.

I couldn't be happier that they're not taking outside cash. One of my favorite parts about this site. I'm sure it'll come in time and I'd rather they get it right, but still hopefully sooner rather than later!

Yes I know, fuck Facebook but that's where I could find them. The page has a ton activity but is private. I'd recommend PA pedes to reach out to join the group if you still use it. Or start crating pages on alternative social media. We've been doing this in our community and it's made a huge difference in engagement!

Just because someone wears a shield doesn't give them carte blanche to kill because they're twitchy or worried.
