I've been telling people about this to counter the unfounded narrative that nothing was done to supress white Trump supporters. They do not know this happened.

I don't think he is a grifter. However, he is much more commentary and discussion based than succinct and jargony. He has digestible conversations and reaches a lot of people - that's his strength and it's an important reach to have.

I saw that video, too. Prior to that, some guy with dreads was also sort of touching a capital police officer - it wasn't anything all that aggressive, just like pointing harshly while yelling and likely making contact in the process. Sydney's case will run parallel to a major realization for many that voting Trump out didn't do what they were told it would do. That voting blue doesn't end poverty and corruption. Sydney's case targets corruption and involved total disenfranchisement.

But for some reason, those same people outside of here are in completely denial that anything disingenuous might happen domestically.
