Unless I am mistaken, when a court considers a request for prior restraints / injunctive relief, the test is (1) will denying the injunction result in permanent or irreparable harm and (2) is the party seeking the relief more likely than not to win the case on the merits. This is not meaningless, and more likely than not to be permanent (unless congress acts).
Being as meek as can be always, in everything, on the premise that this will somehow convince the commies to cease abusing power at every opportunity is foolish. You know how you get the other side to quit pulling bullshit? You pull more bullshit, bigger bullshit, bolder bullshit, better bullshit - until they are losing so badly they demand a stop to all bullshit. And that's when the bullshit stops.
I can think of numerous and much better ways to out fraud. None of my plans involved giving up both houses of congress and the executive branch to communists. Hey Rudy: I'm going to give you some good advice here - we all know that this lawsuit is designed for one purpose only, and it's not to seek legitimate redress of a claim for damages, it's to jam you up with wasted time and expense, and leave the public with the impression that you are the bad guy here. They will never let this get to a stage of discovery where you'll see anything good, their plan is to file the suit, let the media harp on their baseless claims as if they were true, but dismiss the suit before you get to prove you're right. So, it is absolutely imperative that you file a counterclaim - because without that, they can dismiss their suit and leave everyone thinking they were right all along in their claims, but decided to be nice and drop it.
It was never going to be an actual constitutional impeachment anyway - congress can not impeach a private citizen, which is what DJT is now. Why don't they just go full on clown show, and have Greta Thunberg preside? She can just yell 'HOW DARE YOU!!!' at anyone who speaks in defense of Trump.
If we're ever going to have accountability or anything resembling fair elections we need to file civil suits and put these fuckers on the defensive. Should have been done in advance of the 2018 midterms, just based on hard evidence we saw in the 2016 elections and the fuckery they pulled then. We'd be in an entirely different place right now had anyone in Michigan / Virginia / New Hampshire / New Mexico / Wisconsin followed this route after 2016.
It will bite him in the ass if he has a job, gets a job, inherits anything, or marries anybody who has anything, and until any of those things happen, it will loom over him like a dark specter. The procedure in my jurisdiction for collecting on a judgment allows the creditor to send the judgment to the county sheriff right after the judge signs it for 'execution' - and also allows the creditor to send the debtor a form called an 'information subpoena' that requires the debtor to list any assets and bank accounts they have so you know where to go to get assets from the debtor to get paid. If the debtor doesn't fill it out and send it back within the time required, you can then file a motion with the court to enforce your right to a completed and returned information subpoena. If the dope doesn't show up for that court appearance and still doesn't return the completed form, then the next step, and funnest part of the process, is to file a motion for a contempt hearing - debtor is ordered to appear in court and explain their failure to return the completed form - and if they don't show up for that, a bench warrant is issued and the sheriff is sent to their residence to arrest them and keep them locked up until a judge gets around to hearing their case, and they aren't released until they complete the form and turn it over to the court. I've had moms and dads call me crying that the sheriff is at their door, their adult aged 'kid' is hiding in the closet, wtf is going on that now their 'kid' is being arrested and hauled off over an unpaid debt? I tell them too bad, so sad, but now that they let it get to this point and put me to the trouble of filing a series of motions with the court, they can go tell the judge their sob story. I like this process because it hinges on the stupidity of the debtor, which is nearly always a rock solid bet they'll act stupidly, and it provides a means for a private citizen to get somebody sent to jail, at least for a couple days. If you really hate the debtor or want to stick it to them bad, file the motion on a Friday so that when the dumbass gets picked up and hauled in by the sheriff, they have to stew in lockup until Monday afternoon before they have any chance of getting out, since Judge's don't work weekends (not for this shit they don't, anyway).
